Tour Edge E725 Driver and 3 wood

So, it's been a couple months since these have been released.

 

For those who bought one or both, what are you thoughts so far?

 

Ready to pull the trigger on both the driver and 3 wood, but would like to get some feedback from those who own them first.

You added them to your signature before you even bought them?

I got a C723 3 wood in the fall, and found it to be outstanding in the two December rounds I managed to get in, fwiw. More people should put Tour Edge on their radar.

My philosophy is I don't list any clubs that I use or do a WITB signature

Don't want any of my clubs getting too comfortable on the roster

Just want them to know they can get cut at any time.  

Funny thing is as much as I try different clubs, I actually don't make many permanent changes🤣

I got the E725 driver and have been really impressed. Granted, I've only been in the Sim but the TE is legit. Head to head with my shaft of choice (UST LIN Q) the TE produced better numbers for me than my AI Smoke Max and G400 Max.

Why did you go for the "E" model instead of the "C"? Just curious. I plan on testing it versus the new Cleveland.

I’m curious as well. My rotation of e722/c722 3 woods “need” an upgrade.  The driver also has my curiosity.

Better than the max? Blasphemy 😉lol; I also am looking at the e725- had the c721 and loved it but I just keep coming back to the max time and time again. Did you find it shaved off some spin?  How would you directly compare the e725 and the max?

Don't get me wrong, the Max didn't get traded in for good reason. It's a dog. The E725 is just a touch better for my swing. I get a little more launch and spin w/ the TE. Right where they need to be. My driver miss is a hair toe side and that's where the COG is on the E725.

Eager to hear more on the 3 wood. It's billed as the more forgiving model. How is it distance wise? Looks easy to hit.

Glad they changed the look of the crown and dropped that “ridgeback” look. The new ‘25 series is more attractive.

Deciding between the 3hl or 5 wood. 

Which one? Not concerned about gapping.
