Elyte triple diamond x stiff

Just bought a new CallAway triple diamond Elyte x stiff tipped half an inch.

Brilliant custom fit but shocked what I collected . Advised to buy shares with a target of $13 . Results say it all . Anyone anyone in CallAway I can contact ? Or advice would be greatly appreciated .

The shaft is so whippy it can’t stay on the planet . The 1/2 inch tip on

am extra stiff shaft should keep the ball flight down not ballon . Bought loads of Callaway stuff recently and all were damaged . Crazy swing weights , light shafts . All damaging to the brand unfortunately and reflected in turnover .

I will . I’ve to get confirmation from CallAway that they support me . Want to get it on a frequency machine and see how ridiculous it is . Very disappointing at retail .

FYI just because it’s XS doesn’t mean it’s going to be stout. There is no std for shaft flex. I have used stiff shafts that were stouter than another brands XS. It all depends on profile and brand and all that. You said you were fit to this. Is this not the shaft you were fit into?

It’s not the the original shaft . Oscillations are way too low for the profile . I’ve contacted Aretera and waiting for a response . Can’t be selling this stuff at retail . Outrageous !! This is why Callaway have lost market share  .

Then what were you fit into?

Sorry , didn’t have a 1/2 inch tip . Still waiting for a response . Going to have to request the frequency number and see how close they match . Way off !!

Callaway replied in fairness to them and 

gave me the cpm .

65/5 278 cpm

75/5 287 cpm 

 

I’ve attached an extra stiff matrix shaft and I’m tracking down the frequency numbers .

If you've had that many issues with Callaway, why are you still buying from them?

The issues are across the board in most brands in Ireland . I’m a shareholder in the stock (Topgolf) and it’s breaking my heart what they are doing to the brand . They potentially have the best equipment but not the best support . Hopefully they put in some brand protection department and stop the crap going on . Acushnet have it and it seems to help .

I can't say I've heard the answer to this.  Is this the shaft you were fit into?

Yes . Checked it out and took the grip off . It’s made in Thailand and designed in Carlsbad according to the label . As you can see from the video the profile would not fit the weakest of x stiff shafts . I’m trying to get access to a frequency machine as they are $800 for the digital one now . Affordable for the pro shops .

Callaway stand by their product . That explains a 20% drop in their share price . With this crap going on it’s no wonder tv viewership last year on the pga tour was down 19% . The Amex this year was down 50 % on last years viewers . The big manufacturers not standing up is going to kill the sport . Sad to say about a game i’m so passionate about but it’s time to sell the Callaway shares before there’s a huge decline in growth . Cheap copies ruined the sport in my opinion .

Did you go to shop and hit this exact 65/5 Aretera X Flex Shaft before ordering the club from Callaway?  That is the fit we have asked about.

contracted me . Hopefully big business can help out here and we can see progress . I’ll update shortly
