Current Lab wait times

Has anyone on here ordered a stock OZ.1? Curious about the actual ship times.

Ordered a DF3 through my pro today. Gonna be a tough 2+ month wait!

order the thing, quietly wait 7 weeks, and then they are all mad at me for asking. I get no update. 
 

zero percent I would have engaged in this had I known it’s all a cluster 

 

oh well, it’s just money and time. Glad I have more of one than the other at least. 

I've never had a bad experience with them, what did they say? What did you say?

Lab putters make a great putter. Making putters for their customers are not there strong suit they run out of parts all the time. I am over it the heads were on back order now the shafts are on back order. They can careless to, I asked why put out lead times if you don’t even get close to hitting it. It is frustrating spend $800 for one club get told when you will receive your club and that time comes and goes. They don’t do nothing to warn you or send an email saying sorry this is why it is taking so long. This being out of parts seems to be a continual problem for them I am in Purchasing it sounds like they don’t have good supplier or they are over whelming there suppliers and have there eggs all in on basket either way at the end of the day the consumer get screwed and we sit and wait. Unless something changes this will be my last purchase with them.

Since I'm currently on day 12 of "in production" and trying to determine when I will get my putter, i figured I would summarize the thread based on what others have posted with CUSTOM orders.

 

Order to Production: 

- Direct: 4-5 Weeks

- Retail: 6-8 Weeks

 

Production to Shipped: 2-2.5 Weeks

Shipped to Delivered: 1 Week

 

Total:

- Direct: 7-9 Weeks

- Retail: 9-11.5 Weeks

 

Main Causes of Delays - Both impact the time from Order to Production Start

- Shaft Out of Stock (TPT and Gears being the biggest offenders) ~ 2 Week Delay

- Head Color ~ 2 Week Delay

Oh that's a bummer.  I got in production notice a week ago and figured it'd be shipped by now.  Still waiting....

The current timeline has been updated to 12-13 Weeks from order to Delivery.

Production: 4/27

Shipping: estimated 6/13-6/20

Delivery: estimated 6/20 - 6/27

 

My proshop reached out to LAB after the putter was "in production" for 14 Days (11 Business Days) with no update. They are fast at responding, so I'll give them that, but my putter is currently "In the gripping phase of production" and expected to ship 6/13-6/20. What they did from the start of production until the "gripping phase," which took 11 days, is beyond me, and at this point, I'm over questioning why it's expected to take 3-10 days to grip and ship. I feel like they've just made up sub-stages "show progress".

 

While I initially expected it to take 8-10 weeks and was content with that, I'd say the last two weeks have been the most frustrating. I appreciate the feedback in this thread, but I also feel like it shows such drastic differences in consumer experiences that it's created an enormous level of frustration for my order, which is taking longer. I'm sure all negativity will disappear when I get the putter in hand, but until then I'll sit here annoyed

inquired this week and was told should enter production soon.  We’ll see from there, but looking like 8-9 weeks total.  Very anxious.

 

I’d think they would be looking to speed this whole process up. Gotta think they are turning quite a few off with 2+ month lead times.

I didn't realize I was posting about the same thing in two threads, but good news - my putter arrived today. Updated timeline below - total from order to delivery was exactly 12 Weeks

So unfortunately canceled my Oz.1 order yesterday evening - free of charge.  The timeline just didn't work for me.  After sharing emails back and forth with Lab Support (Great CS, btw), my 4-6 week timeline became 6-8 a few weeks back, which was fine.  Then my timeline became 6-8 for production, not for receipt of putter in my hands....meaning the timelines are 6-8 weeks to production, not for receipt of putter.  Thought that was interesting, maybe I misinterpreted the timeline at ordering, "Please Note: Expect delivery 4-6 weeks from the time of purchase. Lead times are subject to change." This was May 7th, 2025.

 

Then the email from yesterday prior to cancellation, "We estimate 6-8 weeks from the order date until orders enter production."

 

I hope to consider the Oz in the future when the lead time chills out a bit.

Just got mine yesterday, ordered 4/27, Production 6/1, OZ1i CB with TPT shaft. Bummed they ran out of the white head covers...will order one when the come back in stock.

This LAB Putter lead time issue is hurting them. I should have cancelled like the guy above I am just to far in. What’s annoying is this in production email ships in 10 business days. I am officially on 14 business days after waiting 8 weeks to get to the in production and now one day short of 3 weeks of in production so a grand total of 11 weeks. The best part when I bought it I was promised no longer than 4-6 weeks. If I didn’t win my flight in a tournament with my buddies putter. I won’t buy from them again because of this duck pond treatment on this purchase. Quack Quack I am duck.

They are out of certain colored OZi heads except 3 when I checked a week ago. It’s been frustrating that’s for sure. They will let you change colors and it will speed up your build. If I remember it’s black grey and pink. Hopefully you get it soon.

Build it online and it's $738 shipped with who-knows how long a wait
