Day's thoughts mirror something I thought about low-torque putters for a while now. Interesting to hear it from someone that actually knows what he's doing on the greens.

I agree with you, but I’m thinking this will be prior to the Masters. This “prototype” doesn’t look like a prototype or have any prototype markings. 
 

I’m guessing it’s ready to be released in time for the golf season starting for the northern folk.

Id assume some mods need to be done in terms of weight distribution

The SMS on Tour weekly newsletter said that 14% of players at the Joburg Open were playing Zero Torque putters.  Usually that value is in the 6-7% range.  The winner was playing a LAB Link.

That would be nice, just in time for their super memorial day military discount.  Have a feeling I'm ordering this as soon as it's out.  Love my spider x DB, but eager to try the zero torque craze.  The 1-2 I've tried haven't wowed me

2  schools of thought:

(A) Doesn't flop  = means there is more inventory in the 2nd-hand market?

(B) Flops = Discontinued ; might have closing-out sales (eg Yes putters? although arguably didn't flop per-se, just got bought out by Adams, which got bought by TM).

A buddy of mine works for a major golf retailer (in australia) and checked their systems last weekend and said he couldn't see any signs of codes or anything for a new taylormade putter. Take that for what you will. That's not to say that could change very quickly. I have no idea how that process works but that's all I got
