Thanks for the response. Do you find putts off the ZT to come out a little hotter than off the DF3?

ok  - this is a loaded response lol. 

on slower greens, i use left hand low b/c i can take a shorter stroke and it comes off hotter. 

on faster greens, i use claw b/c i get more feel and don't have as much power behind it -- comes off softer. 

firmer balls come off softer (i play a chrome soft TD in tournaments on faster greens); but a softer ball will def come off hotter IMO.

100% agree. I thought the OZi was going to be The One for me but it never jived and my putting got worse. Moved to the SB1 and it was so much better, still love that thing. Sitting over in the hoard, judging me.

haha i have an SB1 with stability in the garage as well. the "blade" at address is killing me. i should sell it.

I've found the ZT to much much better at lagging than either one of my LAB's were. For me the ZT weight just feels right, not too light not too heavy. Face is hotter than the DF3 so less effort required and the OZi just felt dead and heavy. Hated the feels.

He's barely in the top 100 for putts inside 10ft this year so the Scotty wasn't getting it done but more a flash in the pan.

He was incredible with his Scotty at the Masters.  Putts rolling in from everywhere.  Not sure why he dumped his Axis1.  He was like 60 shots better in majors than anyone else over a decade with the Axis1.

He was 1st in putting at the Masters.  Putters that look like Axis or LAB need to make putts to stay in the bag.  If odd looking putters aren't dropping putts I might as well use a putter that looks good to do the same thing.

100%.  He was 1st in the Masters and first for a decade in majors with Axis1.  Today he finished last in the field today in strokes gained putting.  Surprised he switched.

Our 2nd Swing has all the models as demos.  I had a chance to look at them today and roll a few putts.  The putts looked great and as others mentioned a step above the Odyssey Square to Square in terms of looking premium.  I really liked the standard model.  I did not care for the counter balance model.  I might have to add one of these to my collection.

Less forward press and weighting is probably causing the difference.  The pure roll insert in the ZT is IMO the best they've created in the feel and feedback department.

Not sure if anyone has already said but I wonder if they’ll have any more alignment/sight line choices coming soon? Give me a full solid white sight line and I’ll be picking up one asap.

If, or more likely, when, I get my hands on one I plan to design and 3D print a very lightweight cowl down the centre bar with full stripe on it as I did for my jailbird s2s! 

 

Haven't seen them anywhere in the UK yet 😞

Ahh I think he meant he wanted a white line all the way across the crown, not just on the steel part

I saw they had a tour version with the full solid white top line along the whole crown so hopefully that’s a good sign.

Played my 5th round with the 36" ZT, still loving it. Speed control with my DF3 was never good no matter how much I worked at it and the ZT has been significantly better from day 1

 

That JJ putt has me side eye lookin at my DF3 tho

Just picked up my 36” CB. Admittedly only rolled it inside but it feels automatic. It wants to swing itself and the pure roll insert gets the ball rolling so quick. Great feel and the putter construction feels really solid. Agree with the above, would love a white sight line running through the body of the putter.

I did cut my 38" down to 34" and just like TM said, no ill effects at all on roll or balance. Two things I noticed: the press grip is not for me so I went with standard 2.0 Pistol. I determined this using my buddies 34" with the press grip. The other thing is this GPS graphite shaft is a beast. At the longer length it felt like it had some give but cut down it feels as stiff as the TPT used in the Labs. It is a solid shaft and I feel like I stole something with it only being a $50 premium over the standard length putter.

A couple of rounds in with the CB ZT - I absolutely adore this thing. I'm a convert and this has saved my putting.

Same here! On my first try, I won a golf tournament with a 36" CB. Even the greens were slow and bumpy. It was more consistent than the Phantom 5s.

They have two sizes so I guess I’ll have to measure it and figure out which one will fit best
