If anyone missed the drop on the Taylormade website there seems to be a certain amount allocated to golf galaxy and dicks as well. Still a few to order on golf galaxy, I just sent it on the 35 in standard version. Supposed to ship on June 5th

I'm guessing that for a lot of companies entering the ZT game the thought process is that if we can make a better looking LAB for the same price we'll sell a bunch of them

Rolled these in store, purchased one and ended up returning it.

Took it out to the practice green and tested extensively against my DF3. The Spider ZT is nice, but I felt the DF3 was more stable and felt more like it to “swung itself.” Compared to the DF3, the spider ZT felt more like a traditional centre shaft putter if that makes sense.

Don’t get me wrong, the ZT is a beautiful putter. It’s a much more premium product than the odyssey square to square (and the price reflects that). I preferred the superstroke grip to the lab press grip. Also the kbs stepless black shaft is superior to the standard steel of the stock DF3. But at the end of the day, the DF3 won as it was easier for me to make more putts.

if I didn’t already have a DF3 and didn’t know better, I would have likely kept it.

Available to pre order in Australia now but they priced them very high here.

$800 AUD for the standard

$850 AUD for the CB

$900 AUD for the broomstick

No doubt I'll end up with one but the price of clubs over here is getting out of hand especially new releases.

Nothing yet. SuperStroke is probably busy right now with their REVL launch. They probably want to hold it over the LAB press grips for the meanwhile. I do hope they release the "Off-Axis" Pistol.

It’s actually the best looking ZT putter I’ve seen in my opinion. However I struggle to see how it could improve my game over my current tour x, as that’s been money for me since April 2024. They also made it easy for me to pass on as it has a superstroke grip - tried them multiple times and they just kill all my feel for putting.

Maybe once the My Spider version is out I’ll look again, as they are good looking.

My local store had them in stock today. They are very nice! I have a DF3 and was really impressed with the 5K.ZT - I thought it felt better than my Spider X I play on occasions. I did notice that all the grips seemed to be slightly closed vs the alignment aid, but maybe it was just me!

My local store only had the 33 inch model, no CB yet unfortunately.

Yeah I wonder if it’s a CB head with no lean cut down or if it’s just not that much lean and he doesn’t mind it with a regular grip. I also think he’s an interesting guy to adopt it with his history with axis 1 and then just going to a face balanced Scotty for a while.

Unfortunate price. TaylorMade has decided the consumer has adapted to this faux new normal so they'll price their in-line with L.A.B. and reap the revenue.

TM has priced these at $450 and $500 recognizing that L.A.B. was forced to price their high due to much lower "economies of scale". L.A.B. doesn't have the volume buying power to get their prices down like Odyssey and TM.

There is nothing technologically or materialistically different about this putter compared to the $249 spider and $349 Spider Tour of last year. It's just a different shape and balance point. No purple smoke inside.

30% markup compared to the SpiderTour, and 80% markup over the standard Spider of 2024.

Cash grab.

Pro wins/does well playing a particular putter. Joe public golfer is sure it’s the club and must get one.

I feel like these are the best looking ZT putters. I play a White Hot blade, but Spiders with the True Roll insert are my favorite-feeling putters. How much shaft lean do these have? I tried the Odyssey S2S, but the forward press was just too much.

Best looking ZT putter out. I rolled the DF3 well but sold because I didn’t like the look. Couldn’t help myself here though, ordered a 35” lefty!

Anyone know if you're going to be able to get custom lie angles from Taylormade on these in the future?

Also, for those people that said it's for sale at their local shop - what shops? All the major ones around me said they're waiting until June 5th.

GG in my area had one out, 33 inch. Sounds like some shops may have gotten trigger happy…

Yes, Golftown here in the Great White North pulled the trigger prematurely and apparently rumour has it the stores that put these out received a slap from the corporate office (Apparently Taylormade wasn't pleased)...

Too late for quite a few to be sold however!
