I'm sure your odds go up exponentially at the Par 3 course. Not just because of 9 chances vs. 2 every 9 holes, but also because those courses tend to be a lot easier. Our local exec par 30 has a 99 yard hole and several at 125-130. Plus greens probably running at 6-7. I'm resigned to never getting one.

I got my 3rd today. Would love to find some info about the odds of 3 in a lifetime. First one I made many moons ago, pure luck. Ricocheted off a hill and hit the stick and dropped in. The other two were nice shots. I think no matter how good you are there's a lot of luck involved, but it would be interesting to know the odds of 3 in a lifetime, or 4 or 5.

I've got 3/18 on a local par 3 course. Lol. (I know, I know. They don't count on par 3 courses even though all 3 of those were longer holes than the one on a "real" course.)

Only other one is on a course about an hour away that I don't play but once every 3 years or so, so that won't ever happen, I'm afraid. That's an awesome goal to chase. Must make it a bit more fun to step up on that tee every round.
