Can't find a comfortable putter grip

First, let me say, I know this could 100% be how I grip the putter or my putting technique.  I putt left hand low and have pretty much my whole time playing golf.  I have small hands, I use undersized grips and wear cadet small men's glove.  I have tried everything from an OG super stroke 5.0 to a standard pistol/paddle style grip.  I've never felt like I have a firm grip, always feels like the grip moves around in my hands.  Looking for suggestions on something to try.

I tried it on my blade putter a while back and initially I thought I would like it but when I tried it on course, I couldn't stop readjusting my hands.

What's the closest to a grip(s) your really liked and what has been just awful in your hands?

Garsen Ultimate?  Superstroke 1.0, 1.5, or 17"?

 

Iomic has a variety in models/sizes.  Maybe other JDM brands?

Gotta say I’ve still never found my perfect grip either but my current favorite is the golf pride reverse taper….good luck in your search

Bought a used putter with a Golf pride Tour SNSR grip fully expecting to immediately replace it with a Lamkin Deep Etched Sink Fit. After a year it is still on.  It hasn’t gotten slick.  It also doesn’t have that real tacky feel.  It feels the same as the day I got it, which never seems to happen with putter grips.

The closest to my unicorn grip is the Grey Odyssey DFX paddle. The only issue I had was it wasn't grippy enough. Anything bigger than a super stroke 3.0 feels WAY too big. I also really liked the Lamkin Deep Etched but the butt end was too pronounced for me.

I prefer firmer grips, too squishy and I feel like the putter moves around in my hands. JDM is a good call, I have used Iomic standard and midsized before and ended up going away from it for one reason or another.

Iomic 65g Putter or Iomic Sticky Putter could be close.

I love my classic Iomic pistol grip, but it will get a little slick over time if it is not cleaned regularly. Warm water with some dawn dish soap does wanders to it. 

 

Another option is Best Grips leather putter grip. I use Best Grips on my full swing clubs and they use ProTack infused into the leather. It's tacky! It is extremely humid here in Richmond,VA and I do not have to use a glove.

You could try a round tour wrap... just a normal club grip.  They used to be quite common.  It would not cost much to try it out.

 

I love GripMaster leather grips... the texture of the worn leather makes me almost forget the grip shape.  ...so plus one to the leather suggestion.

I’ve used the deep etched cord for years but decided the butt end could be a bit smaller.  This grip seems to be a good compromise.

 

And this is from a guy that has never liked SuperStroke grips.  I just didn’t know they had such a slender grip.

Curious, why not just use the DFX? You can also import the cord version which I personally like better.

Personally I wish there was an easier way to shop for putter grips. So many choices and so few options. 

I've really enjoyed the the V-Rad. Not too fat, sort of tall and the rubber feels silky for years. My hands are a bit bigger than yours and the downside to the V-Rad for me is that I wish it were "taller" to sort of lock my wrists in even more. But it's not distracting at all. I think it's a good way to go it has most of the traits your looking for and even with shipping it's not expensive. 

I think Iomic has some grips that are rubberish and not bulky.

if tacky is what you are looking for and a secure feel. The roo leather gives a nice high end feel to it.

This.  The tackiness is odd at first but after a few sessions you'll completely forget about it.  Plus over time the leather will give you that consistent feel when finding your grip.

Can't think of any others, but the full contact is my gamer after trying different models by SuperStroke, Cameron, and Lamkin. Picked up a club recently with the deep etched and felt very natural in the hands and was stable. The full contact feels similar and also stable, but the size/diameter fits me a little better.

Since you like to putt left hand low try a reverse taper grip you can go to store and feel all the options it is the only grip that feels really comfortable to me in left hand low.  I use the medium pistol for reference

Make sure your lie angle is correct and try iomic 55 or 65 gram grips. Also garsen quad tour or golf pride tour wrap. I also putt left hand low and usually like something with no taper or wider paddle down low.

Have a look at these grips made by P2. I have putted left hand low for 2 decades and I currently use a P2 Classic on my Cleveland putter, it's awesome.

I seem to always come back to this one as well… but giving the best grips leather microperf a good run soon!

 

OP: def try a Golf Pride reverse taper for left hand low… in my brief stint trying that it was comfy.

Agree.  There's something magical about this grip.  Even when it gets slick it performs.
