😢 I didn’t like the idea of buying a soon to be generation old PXG iron when they already have awful resell value….which is priority one if you are a true WRX’er. Knowing Titleist has whatever they have coming was part of it also. Have to figure out my 10th iron set of 2025.

I’m very curious to see what both companies come out with.   Put them head to head.  Pillow fight.  I swear if you put a blindfold on me and I hit both my T150’s and 0317 CB’s it would be thought to tell the difference.  Even the 0317T’s.  It’s so close.

Sort of, but not really.

 

there was a person in the another thread that owned the eylte TD, TD TD, and TD max, and maybe the core head.  I’d say owning 3-4 different drivers of the same season and same oem is way more insane than 8 -10 iron sets

So how do you choose what to use when you go play? And historically, has there been an iron set you used for a long time that stuck out to you?

Not going to lie I’m considering going T100/CB again to replace my TC201’s. I really don’t expect much out of titleist and doubt they will have a CB.

Interesting, I love my P750/P770 combo set, they're getting a bit beat up so T100 and ZXi7 are both great options. How did you like the P7CB? They were a solid improvement in forgiveness over P7MC for me

It’s hard to beat a 6-9 620mb and 4-5 t100 set.  It’s fun and and as long as you take enough club they rarely get you into troubleZ

 

the tcbs have a little more pop and are an easier to hit club, but something makes me reach the combo set.

Titleist hasn't felt the need to replace the 620s since 2019, and really, what more different could they do? The only full set (4-PW) Titleists I would play is the T100

I see what you mean, they were quite thin, so I would have digging problems (not good enough to use blades). The CBs almost remind me of a ZXi7 without V-sole

Yup, and I have a similar issue with zx7’s.  Hit them both thin all the time and normally don’t have a thin miss

They could always adjust cg with moving  tungsten around. Going on year 6 if they don’t have a replacement they never will and will stick to T-series stuff which is kind of a bummer.

Because Vokey prides itself on offering so many different grinds, I could see Titleist offering various sole grinds for the same iron. Maybe a normal sole, double cut (like V-sole), triple cut (like Edel SMS), and possibly heel & toe relief
