Titleist right now seeing all of this interest for an iron thats months away from release:

Unfortunately, the new Titleist iron lacks feel (or is too soft) and does not spin enough to hold greens (or spins too much and balloons).  It also has too much offset, bounce and the lofts are too strong.

 

Just wanted to get my reviews in on the hypothetical irons.

I have a 2023 T200 2i with 2023 T100 3i-7i and 2019 620 MB 8i-PW in the bag.  Other T100 and T200 irons in storage.  Had sets of T150 and T200 too, but they were better used by friends.  I am 100% feel and visual player, no issues with any of the T-series. 

 

At this juncture, don't see changes on the horizon.

They are easily the best feeling and looking Titleist irons yet! They go farther and straighter too.

I've got a fitting scheduled for 6/23. Feels early but same time I got fit 2 years ago. Pretty tight lipped about stuff, I just got the reservation request with no other info.

Ive already gained 1/2 a club and decreased dispersion by 10% by merely reading about these irons.  Now thats what I call cutting edge tech!

Yes, to me they felt clicky -- more like a Ping GI iron than a buttery Mizuno blade. The sound of a pure strike wasn't the dull crack of a Hogan '72 Apex, but more the bright happy 'hello' of an old Wilson Fat Shaft. The topline I know is a matter of taste, but for me these are too thick (especially noticeable on the long irons); I mean, if I wanted a Callaway or Cleveland, I'd just go buy those instead. My one line summary? The new T-series irons are trying to be all things to all people -- and when you try that, you risk not satisfying anyone at all.

That because of their new AI tech.   They've had drones over courses around the world for the last two years, using facial recognition and AI, they are 3D printing an optimized set for you.

 

But it still has a plastic backplate.

That's almost the exact time I had my GT fitting last year, but slightly earlier by a week or so before I had the 2023 T Series fitting.  Haven't received an official invite yet, but rep told me last week it would come soon.
