Club Champion pushing Titleist on me?

You honestly sound like you just want to buy a ping, so go buy a ping and make it work the best you can. 
 

im a big fan of playing what you like looking at. You’re stuck on ping. Go get a ping first. Then flip it for a GT on here if needed. There is zero sense in paying CC to build you a driver. The BST here can put together one of these fits for half the price or less. 
 

but you did pick up significant gains across the board with that GT2 vf6x spec. I don’t know what else you could possibly want. The law of physics says you found the right spec already.

Heck, we had a video where Ian proved puring was useless and we never charged installation for grips if they bought from us. Once CC was in charge it was purely about how much money can they squeeze out of the customer before they say uncle. I didn't like that, and neither did the other 3 people I started with (i.e. the OG guys before TXG blew up online), and we all jumped ship within 12 months of each other. The only people who are still around are the one's who started around the CC buyout because they don't know any better.

Okay, now that I have that rant off my chest, buy the OEM model. You will not notice one ounce of difference. On top of that, I think CC is still running their 150% trade in bonus as well. If not, Golf Town is. Take advantage of that as well. You should be able to get about what you would privately with this bonus promotion.

I appreciate your insight. Sounds like CC is chasing the buyout $$$ when those money hungry private equity guys took over. It's really too bad they've driven the OG fitters away who genuinely care, since there's limited good fitters in Canada. These upcharges are a huge turn off for any self-aware golfer who isn't looking to piss extra money away, it's like they prey on gullible golfers or rich people who don't care about the cost.

 

And yeah, it's $24 for a MCC installed. Like WTF is that. They're that money hungry they're charging a $5 premium on a grip for a $1600 driver purchase. It's also dumb they charge full retail (plus an $80 markup for the build/pureing) on the VF without any discount like OEMs provide with a shaft upgrade. Does CC lets the customer keep one of the "stock" shafts that comes with the club? I'd be more inclined to order through them if they provided this so I could sell it, or at least discount me like the OEM does on the shaft upgrade.

 

Nice to hear that Titleist can do the build themselves, depending how my next session goes with the fitter I'll know if I want to give him the sale or not. I don't wanna lead him on and the data has been helpful, but if he pushes me for a sale on the spot tomorrow or tells me Titleist can't build the club then it'll be an easy decision not to buy through him. Personally, I want to look at the Foresight data myself in more detail before committing, and any pressure to get an order in would turn me away real quick.

Hahah, I appreciate your honesty. I'm not married to Ping but I'm in a healthy relationship with them, and looks do matter to me so I'm glad that you suggest that visuals are important. I only hit 3 shots with the LST and only with the Velo Blue+ shaft, so I'm curious if the VF can keep the spin down. At the end of the day, I need to give a fair opportunity to my trusty Ping. But yeah, you're right, biases aside the GT2 flat out performed.
