Atlanta Athletic Club Members

Any members of Atlanta Athletic Club here? I am looking at a few clubs as a young executive and would love to connect with someone at AAC. The last info I got was from 2021 so was hoping to get an idea of updated numbers and everything, as well as get your opinion of the club. Thanks so much!

Not sure what the exact numbers are but the other elite clubs "ITP" ("Inside the Perimeter" i.e. Cherokee, Capital City, PDC) are clustered in the $140,000 - $150,000 initiation range. I'd imagine AAC is just south of that.

If I lived in the Johns Creek / Duluth area I'd 100% belong to AAC...place is incredible.

I do live in Johns Creek just up the road from AAC. Played it 2x and have played a few tennis matches there as well.

Delightful venue, completely out of my price range. I play occasionally with a gent at Rivermont who also belongs to AAC.

I can try to put y'all in touch. He's a stick for sure.

Thanks for the offer. I've been out to AAC a few times and am slated to play again soon (Ansley gets reciprocity there while Settindown is being renovated so I can tag-along with him).

I belong to one of those clubs mentioned ITP anyway so I'm spoiled with golf as it is!

I know PDC is sub 100k for intermediate initiation which is what OP seems interested in just as an fyi

AAC is in the beginning stages of a 7 year master plan of renovations which includes renovating the Highlands course in 2028. Tennis and clubhouse renovations are included in the plan. Sounds expensive.

I feel like all the Atlanta courses are getting in on the course redo arms race currently. AAC getting ready to redo Highlands after finishing river 2 years ago, ACC just finished theirs, Ansley redoing settindown, Cap City just dropped like $40mil on their Brookhaven clubhouse and Crabapple getting reworked, East Lake redo, PDC talking about getting some work done, Druid Hills with clubhouse remodel work, Rivermont having work done.

Cherokee going to redo the north course in 27 and the south after that's done

Perhaps if you're a junior member AND a legacy then it's sub-$100k but otherwise not sure how that's possible. Junior members typically get a 25% discount and starting from $140k - $150k...

I can't speak to others but I can guarantee that PDC is sub 100 as a junior non legacy.

Legacy is half normal so it's in the 60s
