Autoflex in Putter?

I was just curious if anyone had tried it and gotten positive results? I am hoping it will improve my distance on long lag putts.

No way No how will an Autoflex shaft improve your lag putting. You will NEVER convince me that a Putter shaft has any affect on lag putting or helping you putt straighter.

The only thing these shafts (Accra - TPT - Lab Gears - BGT) do is change the way the putter feels when striking the ball.

I agree. Tried a few graphite and liked them, but it really was weight, balance, and feel at impact. I did come to really like the M16 in my tour milled Brandon though, the best of graphite feel in the handle and stable weighted tip.

I have the M16 in my PXG Gunboat, great shaft with a good feel.

You guys joke, but Autoflex shared a post on Instagram from some club outfit in Asia I think that did this. They had a broken tipped AF sitting around and tipped the crap out of it so it was rigid as anything, tapered the tip so it fit in a putter and butt trimmed to length. Someone with better sleuth skills than I can probably dig it up.

Hah, I don't think there is any doubt you could use an AF as a Putter shaft. There is just no way that this or any other shaft will help anyone with lag putting.

I agree. I was all on the Stability hype train when it first came out. All it did was make my putter feel firmer on impact. I can still tap it in for triple like I did before.
