Always the concern in this case one guy sucks and the other plays like God and it’s over by the turn.  I think much like last year Bryson has been scrambling well but hasn’t nearly been as good as Rory.  Just feel this time Rory closes it out.  That said I’m not sure he plays as well on Sunday as he did last year.  Let’s not forget aside from 3 shots he was pretty darn good that day

I can't disagree with that - The Tiger win was epic because of so many players around. 

 

There is still the outside possibility of someone making a run - Aberg etc. i  don't think Connors has the fire power or the putting to get it done, and I am Canadian. All that aside, you want a dual. This is the best possible chance of that.

He is very popular.  The same was said that the US Open and PGA championship last year.  He just has his little crew of PGA die hards that hate him because they cant get over the fact players left the PGA.

‘It was shaping up that way before today but Bryson and Rory are the only ones who surged while the rest mostly stayed in neutral. Except Zach of course but there should have been a few more 66’s or 67’s out there. The course was get-able.

My dislike of him has nothing to do with that other tour. I'm sure I'm not alone on that.

If I remember right, 2019 ratings were not very good.   It ended around 1 or 2 for weather delay and no one really watching.   They replayed later to total averagish Masters ratings.

Rory practically wears his heart on his sleeve. And, except for one instance, faces the cameras and spells it out. He also offers various and (wildly) varying explanations, opinions, outlooks etc.  Guy wakes up on a different side of the bed every day.

 

Bryson went from complete oddball with questionable interpersonal skills to Captain America of Golf.  I don't know which is the real Bryson given the enormous disparity between the 2 possibilities.

I have a pretty similar opinion towards Bryson and Tiger and also Phil to an extent.   It's a lot of fun when they're in the mix.   I can appreciate watching them them have a great tournament and also really enjoy watching someone I really like beat them.

The 1997 Masters still has the biggest TV rating. The 2001 Masters (Tiger Slam) is 2nd on the list. The 2019 event was messed up by starting early in the morning due to bad weather that was rolling in throughout the day.
