The total suck is “they’ll be happy to fix it for you”, but it’ll never get out of your head. It’d be interesting to see how it compares to other 7 CH’s. Nothing worse than “broken” new.

I have another 7ch and it looks nothing like this.

Also should note I spent an hour on the phone with Callaway this morning getting bounced around between departments that seemed to have no clue what was going on.

Well to be fair the Xander version cost 30% more and was limited to under 300 pieces.  Usually I associate those two things with a higher build quality (doesn’t mean they are).

 

450 is a retail milled price in 2025.  There is variations in quality for retail stock across all OEMs under 500 sad to say.

Are we thinking that the one poster’s putter is correct? And regardless of variations, that looked like a complete F-Up.

I have plenty of retail Camerons that never look like they have 7-8º of loft. I genuinely think something happened to a batch of these sort of like happened when they botched the insert on the Rahm on a batch.

I think the first posters putter looked like it got messed up.   The neck/hosel looked c chapped) 

 

the second one looked within tolerances I’ve seen from just about every brand off the rack. 
 

edit you can see in the Toulon “Xander pic” it still has the optical illusion thing going on with the loft due to the top flange bent sloped front to back.  I have Toulon Xander and thought the same thing when I looked at it

I was at my local Roger Dunn yesterday and hit a few putts with one on their green and it felt like it had a ton of visible loft on it. I wonder if a bent neck is an issue with a lot of them

I don’t see them listed on odyssey’s site any longer.  I guess they are all sold out.

Yea and when I called about an exchange this morning they were hugely unhelpful. Oh well. Sticking to my blacked out Phantom 11.5, I guess. Blacked out is more my thing anyways.

Sent mine back.  Went to PGA SS after work and they had two, both looked similar to mine.  I’ll wait for the Spiker ZT to be released.

Hard to tell. The shaft lean on mine was just waaaay off. At address it was very far forward suggesting it had a bend. I compared it to a bunch of other putters I have and the shaft position was just weird. I think if the next didnt have the curve it would have been fine.

That stinks.  I remember when the issue with the Rahm putter happened.  Sean Toulon contacted me personally and apologized for the mishap and totally made it right.  Different times now I guess🤷

He was on here and extremely helpful. I remember that. This time I was sent to three different departments and gave up after over an hour and 10 min on the phone with them. It seemed like they wanted to be helpful but had no clue what to do.

That depends on if you regularly have a sprinkler head between you and the hole.  Or you think roll is over rated and you’re in favor of putting a little air under the ball.  

 

The hockey player in me thought putting a little sauce on the ball would be cool.
