The picture you posted shows the milling.  I think there are some people very experienced in milling putters in this thread acknowledging that…..

Clearly you are unhappy, why not send it back?  What do you stand to gain by trying to convince others of something you don't understand.  No one is vouching for Odyssey as a brand, it is just a fact that you are mistaken on this particular claim about milling.

It’s milled. I think you’re confusing this ine with some of the cheaper odyssey putters that have been skim milled to give them a “premium look.”

Woah.. no need for the aggression. I don’t care either way and I am not trying to convince anyone of anything.  I was just talking. I was more asking questions and stating thought out loud. Someone with more insight offered more info. Cool for me. I know @iteachgolf makes putters and high quality knives. I have followed him for years!! Plus he is a great coach.

I'm not sure how you interpreted aggression from anything I said, but it's surely a misunderstanding.  If you are receiving a suggestion to listen & learn from others with expertise on the subject being discussed as aggression, perhaps you are projecting tone that isn't there.  There was nothing of the sort here.

It's a little amusing to me they have framed it as "loft might be slightly off."  My concern is they'll bend the hosel at the top without straightening the neck.

Yikes. These necks are so bent I’d have serious concerns about the structural integrity of the club if you just bent it to spec as some have suggested

Just got mine in yesterday that I ordered from TGW. It was almost comical how much it was bent. Grip wasn't straight and very loose at the bottom also. I have never done a return so fast in my life!

Played a few rounds with mine the past week.  Some thoughts:

 

- The neck on my copy is good.  No bend

- There was a big ding on mine after taking off the plastic.  How?  Seriously

- Head is light.  What are the best/most economical 15g weights that fit?

- Shaft feels fine

- Not the biggest SS grip fan.  Have an Oddy rubber on order

- I like the face milling.  With a light head and 3.5 loft the ball does not come off fast but it feels good

- I putted surprisingly well with it

- Quality wise it feels like a $229-249 putter.  The markup is all based on Xander

Hosel mark stinks.

 

i don’t feel any oem does great job with putter grips, and it’s why i think a lot of them still mostly round stock grips.  Stuff like your doesn’t really show up as much with a round grip

I think TM is doing pretty good with the spider grips. Probably correct about the round grip tho.  
 

I actually pulled the shaft and reshafted it straight. So now it’s dealt with , hoping to get some store credit for the mark on the hosel. 
 

I know it’s gonna come with time anyway. But as brand new it should be no marks imo

That mark looks like epoxy, why it’s shinny. Bit of acetone should take it off

Callaway's CS may be the absolute worst I've ever dealt with. You can't get anyone on the phone, you try via email and you get a copy and paste reply from a rep that doesn't address any of you're questions. 

 

They received the putter with 10.5 degrees of loft on the 22nd. Still haven't received a refund. Since they're uninterested in CS, I'm gonna have to dispute the charge with Amex.

I genuinely mean no disrespect, but c'mon man.  It's a multi-billion dollar company, what do you really expect?  Wait times suck, yes they are slow, etc..  They have thousands of customers to deal with every day. 

 

You are quite literally a number in the queue.  If you don't want to be treated like one, try shopping Toulon or other smaller operations.  Callaway is a volume business.  It sucks but complaining here isn't going to move that needle.
