Southport UK trip finalized!

If you’re a member here and at any of the courses, we will be a group of 8 guys staying in Southport. We would love to meet you and buy a pint (or 3)…..

The wife and I toyed with a trip to that area and I was getting pretty fired up about playing a couple of those courses and driving down to Conwy but . . . I decided when the Aer Lingus St. Patrick's Day sale came around to change it up and a "non golf specific" trip was born.  London for a week (with two long days/overnight via Eurostar to Paris) then up to the Yorkshire Dales for a few days of decompression.  A very popular change, lol. 

 

All is not lost - when we went to London last year I had to cancel my round at Sunningdale because of my shoulder - they are honoring last year's greens fee, plus I think a 45 GBP difference, and found me a time when we are in London so I'm playing the New Course in just a little under two weeks from now.  Rented clubs, but I'm sure it will be fun.

 

Hillside, to me, looks to be a complete gem of a golf course - maybe next year.

Yeah there are so many great ones in the Southport area. Kind of bummed that we’re missing on Formby as well as Southport & Ainsdale. But same story, so many golf courses but limited days.. Have a great trip!
