What does Paypal do if buyer sends back an empty box?  Or some branches off of a tree that weigh the same as shaft pulls?

If it comes to him shipping these back, I'll do my best to video the box from off the delivery truck to opening them.   If he pulls any more nonsense, i'll have video ready for PP (or for that matter anyone here) should they should care to view it.    As far as I know, there is some verification of shipment returned to me but then again I have no idea as it is my first time dealing with a fraudster on this site and the PP claim process.    If nothing else I'll try to expose him any way possible to spare anyone else the hassle of dealing with this fraudster so much the better.

If the buyer is imagining a PP verdict (with no other info from him) in his favor will be some exoneration....I got news for him.

 

I can't say for sure who the liar is at this point but if I were a betting man...

All salient points are made already. My worthless comment is that these deal or no deal threads have made me stop the golf club churn. I don’t reshaft anymore, I only buy new grips from the local big box, I refuse to buy any used golf balls. Plus, I despise USPS, FedEx and UPS, cost and shipping times are nearly as bad as the height of Covid. Plus, too many damaged boxes on people’s porches. 
 

Thanks to all. Sorry for the bad experiences, but I’ll rest easier.

Nothing yet but I will update here once I find out more.  I did my best to provide the info so they don’t have to be knowledgeable about shafts/grips…we’ll see if they read what I sent.   I will be appealing should they not see the obvious fraud the buyer is pulling.

Ok... got an email from PayPal that is well... odd.   There are new lows to which the buyer has gone to.

 

 

 

 

Can't list further details here because of personal information listed but apparently the buyer has gone directly to his financial institution to even claim PayPal committed some sort of fraudulent transaction.   If I am understanding correctly that financial institution pulled the money from PayPal.   Up until this point it was being resolved within PayPal but buyer must have decided the evidence was too strong.

 

So as stated in the screenshot above, PP is disputing this chargeback with his financial institution.     To add to this PP is charging me $15 to handle this dispute on my behalf.    The other thing that is apparent is that I will not be getting these shafts back.

i'm not familiar with paypal dispute cases but i'm assuming he's gone to his bank and disputed the paypal charge? maybe he's thinking paypal wasn't going to side with him on the dispute case to begin with?

They won't ban him until there's final resolution here. If they ban him now that eliminates any possibility of communication/settlement. Once there's a final decision, they'll IP ban him.

yeah, that is what appears to be happening.   Prior to this PP temporarily put the disputed funds on hold until they came to a resolution.   Now the buyers bank has done something similar to PP to try to claw back these funds.     

 

Which all means that (if the buyers bank doesn't relent), they are helping the "buyer" not only get his money back but no reason to return my shafts.
