New Callaway UW for 2025?

The newer UW’s are definitely a different weight , but the older ones are the same as everything else callaway

100%. The weight for the Apex UW 24 is not the same as the weight for any Callaway club that I’ve seen. Looks like it may be the same one used awhile back for a Big Bertha offering.

Wanted to state the same. I have the OG UW as well as the UW '24 and the weights are 100% not identical. The latter have a larger diameter and are flatter. Size wise, the OG UW weights look much closer to the ones in the Ai Smoke driver I used briefly, but I've never tried swapping them. Nonetheless, you'll find plenty of weights for both models online.

Ok that’s the old version. The current version APEX UW does not take the same weight as Callaway drivers and fairways.

One of the most shocking things about the OG 17' is that, even though it was 1.5in shorter and 2' weaker, it knocked my TSr3 3W out of the bag. The topline numbers for the 3W were higher, but dispersion was better, averages were in line, and the UW is much easier to hit off the deck, so it was a no-brainer. If they can balance the higher spin of the Gen2 UW with a 15/16' it could be a monster. Hell, it could be a mini-driver killer

Yeah a lower lofted option would definitely make a unique mini driver type of a club 

 

I remember when the AI Smoke Mini first leaked, Xander was testing a DUW prototype. Which seemed to me like a bigger headed, lower lofted UW, meant as an off the tee alternative....

This is why I want a 17 degree OG UW! Got my beat to hell 19 UW but think the 17 would be perfect 3W/4W alternative.

 

Curious about the move to titanium by Callaway also and wonder how any of the titanium line stuff particularly the Ti Elyte stuff matches up
