TPT Iron shafts

Anyone have insight on the new TPT Iron shafts? I have the specs but they seem light and not as low torque as expected. I'm wondering if they follow the same numerical logic, meaning if someone likes the 16 for the Driver, they would start with the 16 Iron shaft or if they are just different alltogether.

14 LO - 102g 1.8 torque 313 butt frequency
14HI - 102g 1.9 torque 313 butt frequency
16LO - 92g 2.2 torque 293 butt frequency
16HI- 92g 2.2 torque 293 butt frequency
18LO - 82.5g 2.45 torque 273 butt frequency
18HI - 82.5 2.45 torque 273 butt frequency

The only insight I’ve seen is $280 each and that’s all I need to know.

I was looking at the TPT iron shafts as well then was quoted 220 a pop with install and my jaw hit the floor.  I thought L-Series and Axioms were expensive but these take the cake!!!

I thought the same thing with the driver shafts (nitro) but they are amazing; expensive but amazing.  

 

It'll be tuff to beat the performance of the Fujikura Axiom tho for an iron shaft.

Yeah when I heard about them I was really curious but I’ve seen Foreward Golf say a couple times now that that are $280 each. Maybe TPT have backed down from that since the shafts haven’t been officially announced yet. Regardless, 220 is a no-go for iron shafts. I do really want to try the Nitro driver shafts though and would pony up for them but would not do it without a fitting. Unfortunately I can find them anywhere for a fitting. 
 

In the meantime you’ve got me considering trying a BB though!

I'm pretty sure they are much higher than 220 in cost now since the tarriff/price increases.  The Nitro is worth it tho.  If you're ever in the Maryland area I have a few Nitro's to try.  My daughter and I both play them.  I've also dabbled with the fairway and hybrid shafts.

I had the 16 HI in new graphics and tested the 16 and 15 HI/LO for nitro and they are indeed very good shafts in terms of dispersion.  The difference I felt between the power range and nitro is weight and feel.  Power didn't have much feel, but nitro was as a bit smoother.

Where were you able to try the new TPT iron shaft?  How do they feel compared to steel?  Was it a different fitting process?  Trying to find out everything I can before seeing Jon Sinclair for a fitting.

Still nobody gotten their hands on these?  I know some dealers had gotten them weeks ago.

May I ask which installer. Because 220 is still better than 290 when you’re talking 7 sticks.

Where did you get quoted 220 from?   ive been hearing 290 as well which is insanity
