Ventus blue reg or stiff?

Just in the process of getting a new driver as my M2 2017 driver face cracked.

Can get a brand new sim2 max for a great price with the Ventus blue shaft.

I’m around a 95mph swing speed so shall I order a reg or stiff shaft?

Tough to say for sure, but R flex would make sense unless you have an aggressive transition.

Thanks. No my swing is fairly smooth right through.

Had a reg shaft in my M2, but my mate has a stealth driver with reg Ventus red in and it’s like a jelly compared to my M2 shaft

The Ventus red - "red" shafts in general - usually will have the softest/liveliest tip sections in the lineup, but that will be a function of what works best or what you're used to. Blue should feel tighter. Kind of depends on what shaft you're coming from.

Then there is the question of which ventus - most likely the made for OEM one, or one of the aftermarket ones.

Hard to say which. Tempo is a consideration, mine is aggressive. I have both Ventus Velo TR "R" and "S" flex. Both are sweet but S takes a solid swing for long drives, while R is more forgiving but not as long for me. Ventus Blue is more of a mid-bend profile too, better for smooth swinger, not the best for my tempo.

Reason Diamana GT is in the bag, it's better suited for my "see the ball and hit it hard" swing.

You could tip the R flex an inch which usually makes a shaft feel a little stiffer. Going with a flex that feels too stiff/stout is no man's land as there's no way of softening up unless you extend the shaft.

Velo blue or TM's made for TR stock shaft?

If made for version, I'd hazard a guess at stiff but it could be worthwhile going into a big box store and hitting the qi35 max with the TM ventus blue in s&r to get a feel for the shaft feel and numbers between both flexes if nothing else?

Hit it and see? For those prices, I would.

Ventus Blue's stiffness is in the tip, but the shaft IIRC, isn't that difficult to load. Unlike the Black.

Great point. The made for definitely seem softer overall than the aftermarket to me.
