Looking for new wedges for 13 yo daughter. She just got mizuno 925 hl irons in men’s regular flex. Her wedges currently are Calloway jaws with f1 recoil graphite shafts. Was checking out the new mizuno. She likes callaway she has ok but may want to try different

I just put my 13 yo daughter into Mizuno T-3 wedges, and so far so good. She hits a heavy ball, so the improved turf interaction and forgiveness of the cavity back coming from her old Ping Forged Pro wedges was very welcome.

She plays 921 Forged irons with F3 recoil, so this seemed like a natural fit for her. One of her biggest needs was being able to use a club as a shorter gap wedge to complement her set gap wedge, so I ordered a 52/10/S bent to 53*, and the 58/12/M for her lob wedge. KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 stiff shafts on the wedges. With AJGA or Hurricane pricing, they come out a bit over $100 per wedge pre-tax/delivery.

That 52* is a really great club, lots of bite.

Yes, her gap is a 50 but we'll probably get it bent to 49... PW is 45.

54 and 58 is a pretty standard setup for sure.

She needs to hit the Callaway, TaylorMade, and Mizuno off grass both full swings and around the green, out of the bunker. Each person will have their own feedback and feel. My youngest (13 boy) just did a wedge fitting. He was replacing TM MG3 54 and High Toe 58. He hated the Callaway Opus (said it was the worst feeling wedge he had ever hit), love the TM MG4, did not want High Toe again, and love the Mizuno T-1. Ended up settling on the Mizuno T-1 with the blue finish 48/10, 52/10, 58/8. Going to play with them a little and decide if anything needs to be bent for gapping. They came in a couple weeks ago and he loves them. They look amazing in the blue by the way. I wasn’t sure about it when I ordered, but they are 🔥
