New Driver Numbers

Any of these numbers look off to anyone? Or would I be hard pressed to find something that performs like this? Currently game the Aerojet LS and these numbers were with the Adapt LS. Spin feels kind of low but im not a fitter.

Spin is on the low side, however, it can be increased from changing balls.  My ss and carry are same are yours, however my ball speed is 175.  I'm guessing your LM is spitting out low ball speed.  Your smash is 1.45 which is pretty good but that could have more to do with face more so than strike.  FYI, some LM's spit out lower numbers for ball speed and smash compared to others.

What loft did you test?

What LM was used?   Unless it was a Forsight machine, smash is a little bit low.

 

Use foot powder spray (or impact tape) to check face impact location and consistency before doing anything else.

Fairly certain it was a trackman. My impact location is fairly consistently just off center towards the toe, not a ton but some.

Then that does mean smash was a little low.

How did you determine that?  Some visual method like impact tape or just by feel?

 

Sorry don't mean to sound challenging but I ask that because something isn't adding up:

 

1) there is little else in the numbers to explain a low smash factor (such as high dynamic loft or severe face-to-path)

2) on TrackMan, slight toe side hits actually increase smash, they don't usually lower it.

 

Unless maybe they were old range balls or even top level balls that had spent too much time in the fitting bay.

 

I also ask because many think it is but feel really is not sufficiently accurate.  Even 1/4" off center can make a big difference in the numbers - especially for high swing speed players.

Thanks for the insight. They’re good balls in the bay but definitely older, but they’re not range balls  if that makes sense. Could it be the fact that my swing being out to end and playing more of a pull fade? It’s exaggerated on the sim as on course I play a pretty straight ball if not a very small cut/draw. 
 

All in all it’s probably not that big of deal as Im driving it fine on the course, but you know how it is, always gotta fight for the few extra yards. 
 

As for the contact, primarily off feel and history on my current driver. I’ve added a picture to show what Im seeing. Im a feel player so if Im wrong just let me know.

Ball speed is off. Looking at your picture, strikes seem more toe/low side. Maybe adjust lie more upright and see if that moves your strike more towards the center.

Nothing wrong with being a feel player - just realize feel isn't always real (not that that makes it any less important even if it might not be completely accurate).

 

Only way to tell if you're right or wrong is break out the foot powder spray.
