X100 Vs PX6.0 Feel and Flight

I have a set of X100 shafts in my current set up, they feel OK, kind of boardy. I am getting a flat flight, which is ok and what I would expect. I demoed a "traditional" PX6.0 which felt more responsive and kicked the ball up. Does this seem right?

Also I feel like I am loosing distance from the X100s, could this be from the flight?

Interesting, most people say PX is rebar/boardy. DG X100 might be too much shaft.

Having played X100, 6.5 and then 15+yrs with PX 6.0, left PX in 2018. Recently moved back to PX only Red 6.0. PX IMO is a different type of shaft.

PX quickly moves to apex, then travels the distance and drops; X100 abruptly starts climbing reach's apex, then drops. Which is better depends on the user. PX is my favorite steel shaft. What I can't say is PX has more feel than X100. The difference is more about how the profile fits the users' game.

X100 and PX are very different feeling shafts so it makes sense that you'd have a different subjective experience hitting them. The 6.0 PX also plays a bit softer to flex than the X100, which might account for the increased height. If you're asking whether PX 6.0 could be the solution, it's impossible to tell from the information you've provided. If X100 is resulting in a "flat flight", spin may be an issue and PX isn't necessarily a great option for folks looking for a bit of extra spin rate.
