Golf Mechanix Auditor Digital Swingweight Scale?

Does anyone have this? If so, how is it? Has it held up over time. Have a Mitchell currently (which works well and can be calibrated), but honesty thinking of selling it for the ease and convenience of digital. Thanks.

I’ve had mine since 2016ish, no issues.

Mitchell swingweight scale is best of best.  No electronic junk to fritz out.  Will it to your grandchildren.  

 

I'm in the Kenneth Smith camp, but Mitchell builds on that great work and is even better.

I just bought a digital sw scale that’s exceeded all my expectations.  It’s already on its fourth set

Keep the Mitchell.  No advantage with the switch.

Ask yourself - do you really use it so much that the 30 seconds or so you might save for each measurement is really going to make a difference in your life?

Not a good deal, keep the Mitchell SW scale and get a Auditor MOI match machine, and you will have the best of both worlds.

I have an Auditor MOI  Speedmatch device, but not sure if it is v2 or v3 ( I know it's not a v1 as a local club-builder has that )

The box it came in from Golfworks says GM1103 on it, which is the Golfworks part number for the current v3, but not sure if previous versions used the same part number.  Are there any physical differences top help identify ?

Yep, love my old Kenneth Smith scale. Oddly enough - it usually reads different than the digital options

I made a "calibration" iron, a Mizuno MX23 6 iron, that I very carefully measured, verifying swingweight, and loft and lie.    I use this club to check my swingweight scale(s), and loft and lie bending machine.  Most of the Kenneth Smiths that have come through my shop (there have been several) were spot on.  There is a pocket on these scales, filled with lead, used for calibration.  Typically, you can see where the techs at Kenneth Smith drilled holes to calibrate the scale, and for the most part, they did a very good job.

The Prorythmic scales read in modern swingweight scale units.  The "Original" scale requires a conversion chart, so I don't mess with those.
