Are you guys both in the U.S? It looks like Titleist didn’t use the dinky baby ferrules on these like they showed in the pictures and that they use on their other irons 👍🏻

How much cheaper was Discount Dans? Can they get any shafts not available through titleist (Nippon Modus 110)?

Publishing prices here not always the best policy. And no, DD only offers what the OEM offers. 
Best to just shoot them an email/call. 
They are super friendly n easy to deal with

Not much and No. Callaway is the only major OEM offering the Modus 110 right now that I’m aware of. They are also available on the Miura website

Just shoot them an email and they will respond right away with your quote.  Prices will obviously depend on set makeup, shafts grips etc.  I saved a lot from ordering through them versus Titleist directly.

I'd rather order from TItleist than DD in the case of no/limited discount.  DD has a policy where they won't drop ship.  I've ordered PING irons from DD and I live in a neighboring state to PING - but the order had to go Fedex 3-day from PING to Oregon(DD) and then the day AFTER they received them, they shipped them BACK to me.  Had it happen with Mizuno as well, which are built in ATL I believe.

 

Took about 4-days longer to arrive at my door in each case.

 TItleist irons only have the ORIGIN sticker on the 6 iron. 

 

The last iron I remember hitting that was confirmed forged by Endo (and also had Thailand listed as the origin country) were the Nike VR Pro & VR Pro Combos.  Such great irons.

DD told me that my set of these was delayed due to lack of the MMT 105TX shafts.

But that they are being shipped to DD early this next week.  So I should have them next week...5 weeks from when my order was placed.

 

Being in neighboring CA to DD, I like the no sales tax from DD which on these was considerable at 10.25%.

I have a set of 681 T irons too, love them but I don’t think the grooves are conforming on those irons any longer.  Not a big deal if you’re collecting or just playing with them in non competitive rounds.

 

Probably one of my favorite blade irons of all time!

Yep. No intention to play them competitively. Just my favorite look of all time in irons. Owned the original 680 in college. Have had 2 sets of 681 including one set of 681 T. 
 

nostalgia and memories more than anything. This was my favorite era of golf and I’ll never forget wanting these clubs during the Tiger slam.

680s are great, but this is their second re-release. I’d like to see some 681s come back out, my favorite iron of all time. Include the custom 1-iron (from a 2-iron blank) like in 2001.
