Lie Angle Test - Thin Toe Pull Draws

Kno there r other posts on this topic but looking for some opinions. Made some swing changes over winter and wanted to check lie angles as we get to summer. 

 

Use 2 sets both preowned, put the specs for the PW's below. Checked these myself and had a local shop get a 2nd opinion. Changes from stock spec are consistent thru out set. One set bent 2 upright and plays +1/4" length. Other set is stock.

 

Turf interaction miss is thin, face miss toe. Ball flight miss is a ball that starts straight or slightly left, but curves pretty more left. I haven't gone to a trackman studio in awhile but my path is generally in-to-out and play a draw with irons and wedges. 

 

I'm sure the toe strikes are probably some mechanical flaw, usually in the 6-8 hcp range depending on how much I'm playing. 

 

Wanted to get opinion on this forum if there's anything on the equipment side which could neutralize this thin toe pull draw miss based on this data. Frankly any swing advice helpful too I've tried to make a bunch of setup variations (e.g., just setting up closer to the ball) but however I react in the downswing I'm still catching toe.

Make sure you are in an iron design with a longer and lower COG (sweet-spot) location,....which will be more forgiving for where a lot of your impacts are at, lower on the face and towards the toe.

No surprise there, just about what one would expect to see for a 2* lie angle difference.   Get it bent to match the two lie angles.

Sorry not exactly.  Different individuals will be effected very differently for different types of clubs changes.   So while some changes might help, there is no way for us to know which ones might do it - or if any might.  And even trying those things could result in other negative side effects replacing it.

 

Only thing I'd suggest is to double check the swing weights of the two clubs - you left out that spec in the club comparison data.

Not a pro - but just from my own experience in working on my swing, I find that face impact location issues (for me at least) tend to be more related to some core root cause in the lower body / hip motion during the swing.
