KBS TOUR vs KBS TOUR Lite?

Are these shafts really true to claims that they are the same shaft with just weight trimmed? Every time I hear that from a company it feels totally different to me. X100 to x100 120 it felt like a total different shaft even the dg 105 x. Can anyone provide feedback between the kbs tour and kbs tour lite if they in fact are similar and the lites just being lighter? Thanks for any help

There's definitely a difference between the two. Tour lite was a touch higher launching and spun more. They also don't feel as stout as Tour, IMO, meaning I can feel more bend/load.

What KBS means it is the same bend profile. No way it will feel exactly the same as weight is a major factor in shaft fitting and has a huge impact on how the shaft feels. Less weight should cause the shaft to launch a little higher and spin a little more. Other than that performance should be similar— if the lower weight agrees with you. Personally I like the 115g KBS Tours the most. (standard Tour, reg-plus flex.)

Been chasing a fun lighter build with steel shafts in the X range no more than 110 grams. I’m and inch over with midsize grips with 3 extra wraps. Just trying to see if possible I get along with a lighter build. KBS $ taper lite x was pretty good but id like even a little higher launch. I liked the kbs tours in stiff and X but I want the lighter weight.

Piggy-backing on this thread; my current irons have the Dynamic Gold 95 S300. In my experience, the trajectory goes no higher than mid-height, and there is a lot of runoff / development upon initial landing. I do not mind this for my moderate irons (5I-7I), but this causes problems for my scoring irons (8I-PW).

I've been working on my irons' swing speed to be in the consistent high 80s. Judging from this thread and from the link / screenshot below, it looks like I may want to consider the KPS Tour Light in the Regular flex. Thoughts?
