The Callaway Elyte Titanium is the hot ticket in Fairways this season. Excellent performance metrics can easily be achieved out of an easy to hit and technology packed head!

The Cobra DS-Adapt LS is money off the deck or tee, easy to flight down or launch high, and straight and forgiving. Add the adjustable weights and FF-33 adapter, and this beast is so adjustable it’s ridiculous;)

Wilson Dynapwr Carbon

 

I rarely carry a 3 wood these days having replaced it with a 2 hybrid but I often carry a 7 wood mostly for approach shots into longer par 5s and the Wilson Dynapwr Carbon is easily the best 7 wood I have hit, it is very hot and produces really fast ball speeds (160+ mph) but it is super forgiving so it is very easy to launch from either the fairway or tee with mid spin and it just wants to go straight so its just like hitting a wedge from 250-260 yards, compared to other 7 woods I have tested it launches a bit lower and spins a bit less so for me it plays more like a 5 wood and I play it shorter at 41" for extra control.

For this year, Elyte Ti.  Fast ball speeds with low spin which makes it deadly off the tee yet still user friendly enough off the turf.  Feels soft and muted even with firmer balls as well which is a bonus.  Not a fan of Cally fairways in general, but they leveled up big time this year with the Elyte Ti.

Agreed if I had the cash, I would buy it today. I want to upgrade from my TM R9 13 deg 3+ wood.

The G440 MAX 4W is simply the best and most versatile FW.  Slightly deeper face, 3 wood shaft length, and the ability to set it as 5W when the 3W-4W distance isn't required.   It is so straight and easy to launch from tee, FW, and rough that it really does feel like cheating.  The 7W & 9W are wonderful companions to transform the top of the bag to Forgiveness  City.

Another voter for the Callaway Elyte Ti. It is the Unicorn FW I have been waiting for.

 

Most titanium fairway woods are better player focused with shallow faces, fade bias and are usually not very forgiving, but Callaway stepped out of that box and made a very forgiving, very long design that can be played by anyone. It has a mid deep face that is playable both off the tee and from the fairway, has a neutral bias and is highly adjustable.

 

Yes it is expensive, but it will be in the bag for a long time so it will save me money in the long run.
