My buddy has these and I've been really impressed with them. The low bounce leading edge sits really close to the ground - very confidence inspiring from tighter lies.  Still hoping they bring the adapt grind to the non full face version.

Good luck everyone that enters!

5. Why would you like to test the Cleveland Golf RTZ wedges? I recently picked up an RTZ in 56* as my old mack daddy was worn down. Its much smaller, and i greatly prefer it on longer swings. I really need some more options in the 52* as i dont like the set wedge for anything around the greens. Would love to also put it head to head vs my 60* callaway that i love.

5. Why would you like to test the Cleveland Golf RTZ wedges? I'm looking for a set of wedges that I'm happy with, and truly want to play because they just work.   I played Cleveland years ago, but went away from them for something newer, cooler, more name recognition, etc...   I would like to see if the new Cleveland RTZ's are that traditionally great wedge I'm still looking for.

5. Why would you like to test the Cleveland Golf RTZ wedges? The new shape looks very appealing to me, as well as some new grinds if I remember correctly. Very interesting that a lot of non-contract players are putting them in the bag, so I would really like to see how well they perform having now played vokeys and Mizuno.

5. Why would you like to test the Cleveland Golf RTZ wedges? I want to test the Cleveland Golf RTZ wedges to see how the  Z-Alloy steel formula performs and feels. The two courses I play are not extremely long, and I hit a lot of wedges into greens, allowing for ample test data on shots into and around the green. As a golfer, I'm always seeking equipment that can enhance my short-game performance, and the RTZ wedges seem to offer that potential with their advanced technology. As a Golf WRX member tester, I can provide real-world feedback on these wedges to help others understand if they live up to their claims.

3. What is your current wedge setup? - set gap wedge (Mizuno Pro 245), Ping Glide 4.0 sand wedge (54 bent one degree flat and one degree weak), Vokey 58T (bent one degree flat and one degree weak)

4. Which RTZ wedges would you like to test? (Tour Satin, Black, or Tour Rack) - Tour Rack

5. Why would you like to test the Cleveland Golf RTZ wedges? - My previous wedge setup were Clevelands, but that set was prior to the introduction of Zipcore and the hydro coating and obviously the new material.  I am intrigued by the potential for better CG location with the zipcore and the performance in wet conditions.  I also find the new material compelling from both a feel and durability perspective.

6. Are you willing to do an in-depth written review, with high quality photos, and future updates? - I would be happy to do the review, photos, and updates.  I have indoor LM testing capabilities and can get plenty of outdoor, on-course testing done.

5. I have only ever played Vokey wedges.  I am very interested in comparing these to what I'm used to.  My friend in the golf industry recently mentioned how good these are, and I would love to see how the new materials they are using for these new RTZ's compare with feel, forgiveness and spin.  And I'm due a new set and this would be the perfect time to test as my tournament season is slowing down.

5. Why would you like to test the Cleveland Golf RTZ wedges? I have always played the combination of 48*, 52* and 56* primarily for my 3/4 wedge shots. I'd like to try the 54* and 56* weakened a 58* combination. My thought on the 56 -> 58 is to add just 2* to a 10* bounce inline with the 54*. Just reviewing the ADAPT grind, this could be a real GEM for working the wedges on tight & browning fairways around the greens here in Los Angeles and Ventura munis. I'd love to see how it performs such as flop shots over bunkers onto the pin behind.

I am also interested in the durability of the RTZ Black finish on face milling and the sole. My last wedges were the Black CBX which was very durable but feel wise, it was not as good as the RTX Full Face

5. Why would you like to test the Cleveland Golf RTZ wedges?

I have missed and been intrigued by Cleveland wedges since I retired my old CG11s for Vokeys long ago. I’m a wedge nerd, I use x7s for shafts in my wedges for full shot and impeccable feel so I would love to see how the RTZ stacks up with a faster swinger with John Daly touch. The recent  material technology developments and grind improvements have me pressed to thoroughly test the RTZ range against my SM8s in the toughest wedge conditions in the Continental United States……Washington.

6. Are you willing to do an in-depth written review, with high quality photos, and future updates?

Absolutely, I’ll come in hot and heavy with details, info, research, comparisons and multiple full reviews like everyone here has come to expect from me. I love the GolfWRX community and take testing seriously because I know there is a forum of people waiting for detailed unbiased reviews and feedback just like me.

I like the customization options of the RTZs, I like the grind options, I have hit them and think they feel better than my Vokeys. Some of my favorite wedges ever were the cleveland CG14 and I think the RTZ is a winner. I also think they will blend nicely with my ZX Irons.
