4. Which RTZ wedges would you like to test? (Tour Satin, Black, or Tour Rack). Tour Rack

5. Why would you like to test the Cleveland Golf RTZ wedges?  Cleveland are hands down my favorite wedges.  Had 588s, Original RTX Zip Cores and now the RTX6.  Each version has improved and would love to see if the new wedges are even better.  The prior version provide the perfect amount of spin without extra sharp grove.  The grinds have been awesome.

5. Why would you like to test the Cleveland Golf RTZ wedges?  I have always been a big fan of Cleveland wedges since the 588 wedges.  Over time I have migrated away from specialty wedges for my gap and sand wedge.  I would like to give the RTZ wedges a try in those positions and see how the Cleveland wedges help out my shot game.  I use my gap and sand wedges for full swing shot as well as chipping around the green.  My lob wedge is primarily used around the green and out of bunkers.

3. What is your current wedge setup?

I alternate between two:
Setup 1: Cleveland RTX Tour Rack 48 (Mid 10), 54 (Mid 10), 58 (Low 6) w/ DG TI S400
Setup 2: PXG Sugar Daddy II 50 (bent to 48) and PXG Sugar Daddy 52 and 56 w/ DG TI S400

4. Which RTZ wedges would you like to test? (Tour Satin, Black, or Tour Rack)
Open to whichever you recommend, but my order of preference would be: (i) Tour Rack, (ii) Black, (iii) Tour Satin

5. Why would you like to test the Cleveland Golf RTZ wedges?

Of my two current wedge setups, the Cleveland RTX’s perform better for my game (consistency and forgiveness) but the PXG’s feel MUCH better. That’s why I haven’t been able to fully commit to the Clevelands. I would like to see if the RTZ’s new Z-Alloy improves the feel to the point where I can fully commit to Cleveland.

5. Why would you like to test the Cleveland Golf RTZ wedges? My first sets of wedges were Cleveland and I've always admired the classic design and depth of technology in Cleveland wedges. I haven't played Cleveland wedges in years and the RTZ design harkens back to what I loved with the 588 and RTX models. I would be honored to test these and see how they help my game around the greens & approach shots!

6. Are you willing to do an in-depth written review, with high quality photos, and future updates? Yes, I will absolutely do a detailed and continuous review of my experience.

5. Why would you like to test the Cleveland Golf RTZ wedges? I have been in and out of Cleveland wedges for a while, I've played most of the 588 series and up to RTX3. I moved over to MG3 because of the milling (and it was new and shiny) and the availability of raw finish in a bounce and loft setup that fit what I was looking for. I am looking for a new set of wedges and the RTZ are interesting to me because of my history with the brand (the Cleveland 588 forged is my favorite wedge of all time, yall got any of those in the vault you want to part with lol), the new alloy used for them (does it actually feel softer? does it wear better than traditional raw steel alloys?) and the ability to customize grinds right from Cleveland (keeps my wedges looking a little more professional while also delivering the performance that I want).

3. What is your current wedge setup?

- Vokey SM10 46F bent to 48

- Vokey SM10 54D bent to 53

- Vokey SM5 60K bent to 58

I will likely add another wedge back in to the bag soon. Going back to a 46/50/54/58 setup instead of the current 48/53/58, to get tighter full-swing gaps.

4. Which RTZ wedges would you like to test? (Tour Satin, Black, or Tour Rack)

Tour Black looks the most interesting, but open to any finish.

50 and 54 degree with MED bounce. 58 with either the ADAPT sole, or LOW bounce. Ideally, I would arrange for a wedge fitting nearby beforehand.

5. Why would you like to test the Cleveland Golf RTZ wedges?

I’ve always been a big fan of Cleveland, and have bagged several different Cleveland clubs over the years including driver, hybrid, wedges, and putter.

Last spring I was lucky enough to participate in the member test of the CBX4. I really appreciated the forgiveness and spin that the CBX4 offered; they were really impressive! The Hydrazip and Zip core technologies are legit. Ultimately I needed a more player-oriented, blade style wedge (with a sharper leading edge). Eventually, I went back to my old Vokeys.

Since the CBX4 playtest, my index is almost 3 full strokes lower. My wedge play has improved significantly after studying and practicing Dan Grieve’s methods. I would really love a shot to put Cleveland’s premier wedges through their paces again, and hopefully knock out the Vokeys for good. I’m really interested to see what the Z-Alloy is all about!

6. Are you willing to do an in-depth written review, with high quality photos, and future updates?

Of course! I would make several in-depth review posts and stay engaged with the community over time.

5. I would like to test these because my current 56 is really tough to hit anywhere but the sand. I struggle with hitting my gap wedge anything but 100-80%. When I am not confident off the turf with my 56, I either hit my 60 too short of my G (~52) too far.

4. Which RTZ wedges would you like to test? (Tour Satin, Black, or Tour Rack) Tour Rack 50 Mid, 56 Mid, 60 Low

5. Why would you like to test the Cleveland Golf RTZ wedges?  I am seeing the amount of tour players (especially traditionally Vokey players) switch into these wedges this year.  I have also moved into Srixon irons in the last two iron cycles.  I got to try these wedges!

6. Are you willing to do an in-depth written review, with high quality photos, and future updates?  YES!  I have a great club to test at and will provide photos and data with my Bushnell Launch Pro.  Thank you Cleveland and WRX!

5. Why would you like to test the Cleveland Golf RTZ wedges?

Ironically, I am in the market for a new set of wedges and the RTZ wedges are at the top of my list! Unfortunately, I haven't found a store where I could try them!

I played cleveland wedges for about a decade ending in 2017. I always loved the wedges, but at the time they didnt offer the grind versatility that I was looking for. So why am I so intriguied in the rtz's? 1. I have always played raw wedges and the idea of finding a raw offering that doesnt rust (and rust on everything in my trunk) is super exciting! The other non rust options in the market, such as the black wedges, have never looked right to my eyes  2. The Cleveland grind offerings seem to be some of the best in the market now (which was an area that I thought they lacked in a decade ago). I love the ability to slightly modify the out of the box grinds! 3. The innovative technology. Not only will these clubs not rust, but they are supposed to be more durable. I play the majority of my golf on shorter courses and my local chip n putt with my kids. So my wedges take a beating. Durability is a major selling point for me!

6. Are you willing to do an in-depth written review, with high quality photos, and future updates? Absolutely! I have professional grade camera/lenses if that helps 🙂
