Was just thinking about this but Hideki is such a confusing/frustrating player to be a fan of. The guy just has stretches where he disappears and then he pops up out of nowhere and wins a big event.

No, the FedEx Cup is a minor (increasingly convoluted) clusterf***. And whatever LIV is doing is not even worth paying attention to. 

 

I have not been able to play golf this year (due to a bad injury from an accident), so all I can do is watch golf. And this week is the bee's knees.

Looks like the weather is going to play it's part. Gusts up to 20mph on Thursday and Friday dropping to 10-15mph over the weekend.

For me, the middle of July is not the end of the golf season.

 

New FedEx playoff format, even though I found nothing wrong with the last.

 

Fall season, I get to check out new talent while the big boys go on vacation for six months. 

 

Maybe a little Tiger and son in December. Lot of golf to be played, watched, and enjoyed.

 

Talk to you next year!   LOL!

As a former windsurfer, I subscribe to that site as well.  It does a very good job of predicting where the hurricanes hit in Florida, which I relate to my son who lives there.  The forecast for Bushmills, close to Portrush, if for moderate winds but lots of rain.

The PGAT should own a major championship, seeing as how most of their members play in them. Or just make the Players a major because it has the strongest field in golf.

Good to see we'll get some windy conditions. Really liking the form that Viktor's coming in with. A guy used to playing in the wind who is a great ball striker on a course where iron play is going to be important.

Also a former windsurfer GV!  Lived in Hood River for a summer doing locums.  Lots of trips to windy places such as Maui, Aruba, Mexico, Baja, and plenty of sessions in SF off Crissey Field or Coyote Point. Spent plenty of time sulking waiting for the wind to build (or die).
