No, the FedEx Cup is a minor (increasingly convoluted) clusterf***. And whatever LIV is doing is not even worth paying attention to. 

 

I have not been able to play golf this year (due to a bad injury from an accident), so all I can do is watch golf. And this week is the bee's knees.

Wimbledon ladies final was a major letdown. Happy Sinner won. Tho was a little surprised by Carlos’ lack of fight.

Its hard to get too excited about any sporting events anymore with all the money involved, but something about the Open and throw on top being at Royal Portrush, I just can't think of anything better to watch.  This has become my favorite major over the years, surpassing the US Open (barely).  Imagine expecting 280,000 people for a golf tournament in a small country...just amazing.

Also a former windsurfer GV!  Lived in Hood River for a summer doing locums.  Lots of trips to windy places such as Maui, Aruba, Mexico, Baja, and plenty of sessions in SF off Crissey Field or Coyote Point. Spent plenty of time sulking waiting for the wind to build (or die).

I would hate to be one of the 280000 fans there this week, it will be horrendous trying to get a good view of play unless you bag a seat in a grandstand and stay there all day or follow a back end group. Even worse if you are too short to see above folk standing in front of you!

That's Scottie's wave, so good chance he's gonna be in it come Sunday. The draw is crazy important. In 2016 the top 14 players going into the weekend had the late-early draw.
