Como82
I feel like networks have not realized there are not many casual golf viewers. You can fool an NFL/MLB fan maybe into thinking a certain team is still in contention etc but we all know Rory has like a 1 in 10,0000 chance to win this unless he goes at least 118 or lower in the 3rd and 4th rounds.

It hasn't been burned out where guys need to use the ground game to run the ball up. Dare I say it's almost American aerial style. Was thinking about this and honestly I think Birkdale is my favorite Open course. Tight off the tee and really puts an emphasis on shotmaking

I'd probably go: 1 Old Course 2 Muirfield 3 Lytham 4 Carnoustie 5 Turnberry 6 St Georges 7 Portrush Pity we haven't seen 2, 3 and 5 in a while. Look how lush it is 50 yards off the fairway. No sprinklers over there. For me it's Old Course and Muirfield well in front, then everything else is kind of the same. Although TOC desperately needs a rollback. It's kind of obsolete now tbh. I've never played RT so it's hard for me to relate. It played well last year. Edited July 19 by StoutKing

Como82
Scottie is pissed lol, the way he just picked that up and walked off, this is where he usually puts the next tee shot within 2 feet of the pin when its a par 3.

Lytham are doing some significant modifications to the par 5 7th and 11th to fit a new practice ground in on the understanding it will get back on the rota.
