Knowing my friends at Rolex they’ll be disappointed he wasn’t wearing a Landweller today instead of a painfully dull Sub LV.

It was my understanding that Rolex ambassadors don't get paid cash/cheques but they get credits for watches. Pretty certain this has been confirmed (I'm sure Adam Scott confirmed it).

My club is Hankley Common Golf Club. And yes, if I do an impression of Tyrell Hatton and throw my 7 iron out of the back door I’ll hit 5/6 great courses on the Surrey and Berkshire sand belt.

Not correct at all. They all get paid and credits for an amount of watches per annum…..varies on their performance lead contract as brand ambassadors.

Be nice to see a little excitement or emotion considering what he’s achieving, no?

 

I actually really respect his comments about his family being more important to him than his sporting success but a little more energy and excitement would be nice, just my humble opinion.

He comes over as merely ticking PR tick boxes with zero emotion or gravitas.

 

My biggest issue is his total lack of any engagement with the gallery watching him. He never acknowledges their cheers, applause or congratulations whatsoever or even smiles.

 

He lacks warmth and isn’t in the least bit relatable in my view.

 

And to be honest I found his remarks this week about how just how unfulfilling his golf career or success is to him rather unsavoury and dismissive.

Another player it seems like everyone has been hammering lately - obviously for different reasons to Wyndham.

 

This was the icing on the cake for me. Having Scottie win, and see Bryson and Rickie post great rounds to move up the leaderboard, was the perfect ending to this tournament.
 

Rickie needed those FedEx points to get in the top 70. Hopefully he builds off of this and makes a nice run over the next 4-6 weeks. Would be great to see him finish the year in top 50. 

 

And Bryson finishing T10 in 3 majors solidifying his RC spot was fabulous. To battle back after that opening round was a different Bryson, imo. He may have just leveled up through this experience. Love to see it. 
 

Sad the major season is over, but looking forward to the next couple of months. Ryder Cup is gonna be 🔥 at Bethpage.

So you're knocking him because his life values differ from yours? Seems whack but you're entitled to your opinion. 

 

He's quite forthright interviewing and answering questions. It's a breath of fresh air compared to the canned answers we hear from 90+% of the other guys. 

 

He does acknowledge the gallery. I've seen it personally. He's just not extremely demonstrative but to say he doesn't acknowledge people is just plain wrong.
