Not in person and definitely not off camera they aren’t!

 

Remember the pros are working when they are playing. It doesn’t help to get too high or emotional, sort of changes playing distances and creates more Mishits.

 

Turn off the camera and get away from the media and many are normal people just a lot richer. Tour life is a traveling circus, on course is the circus. Off course is a whole different life and aspect of saving/keeping your energy up.

He's quite forthright interviewing and answering questions. It's a breath of fresh air compared to the canned answers we hear from 90+% of the other guys. 

 

He does acknowledge the gallery. I've seen it personally. He's just not extremely demonstrative but to say he doesn't acknowledge people is just plain wrong.

Tiger was out of position more and required to hit crazy shots, which is what we all remember. I’m willing to bet Scottie plays from the fairway more often that Tiger. Scottie’s X factor is his incredible consistency; fairways, greens, make a couple of putts every now and then. He is rarely out of position.

I think the US has the preeminent golfer, but there's a fairly sharp drop off after that. Let's wait until the Ryder Cup and see what happens.

Hard for me to understand how playing winning golf is considered boring. I'm pretty sure there are at least 149 other professionals on the PGA Tour that would love to be playing winning golf as consistently as Scottie.

What I find entertaining is someone hitting a draw and holding it into the wind, landing it next to the pin along with a variety of different shots the situation calls for. 
 

This is how Scotty entertains the crowd, with his golf shots, not raising his arms up and down acting like a cheerleader (Bryson) at the high school football game.
