Recent Stitch bags

Has anyone purchased the SL2 Gen 2 recently? Love the look of the bag but know there have been quality issues in the past. Most reviews that I can find are a couple of years old and their website only posts 5 star reviews which I don’t trust 100%. Thanks!

I know a number of guys unfortunately who wouldn’t buy based on their issues with the SL2 original.  One guy is on bag 3 or 4 that they did replace due to leg, zipper and other issues.  I would be interested also to see if anyone has input on the new bags.

I’ve never seen one out in the wild but love the look. My bag is starting to tear on the full length dividers so time to start looking for a replacement. I remember all the issues from a few years ago which is why I’m hesitant. Was really hoping someone here had purchased one recently to speak on if the issues had been resolved or were still problematic.

I have the SL2 airwalker, so not the standard material. But my daughter has the SL1. Sharp looking. No leg issues or zipper issues on either. If you use midsize or larger grips, or just need space, probably look elsewhere. Quality wise so far so good after about a year on each.

I have one.  It's better than the first version in all ways, short one thing, not "as" waterproof. More highly water resistant.  

 

But only issue I had with v1 was the leather tab broke off a zipper after like 2 yrs.  Zipper still worked just the tab came off.  Still have it as a backup bag, played/walked like 300 rounds with it? 

 

V2 has molded zippers, and easily doubles the storage space/convenience of that space without changing much else.  Loving it so far, about 50 rounds in or so...played in sideways rain in UK, stayed pretty dry, but did completely dry out quickly once back to the hotel.

I pulled the trigger a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t be happier. Absolutely love the bag! I almost never play in bad weather anymore but like you said my bag does seem like it would be very water resistant. I carry 3-6 balls a couple of tees and combo bug spray/Sun screen so really there is more than enough storage space for me. Only critique so far, and I’m well aware that I’m still in the honeymoon phase, is that the valuable pocket inside the magnetic pocket is ridiculously tight to the point where it’s unusable for me.

Great looking bag, but can’t use mine anymore. The foam ripped on the club dividers and the plastic dividers ripped right through the paint/finish on my fairway metal shafts.

How long did you have it? How many rounds?

Probably 120 rounds or so

That’s disappointing. Should be more durable considering the price point. I’m hoping I get better mileage on mine.
