2nd swing golf Return TAT - Terrible experience going on

I have been waiting for my refund since 6/26 - I have called 3 times over the last 2 weeks. Its like watching the movie "Groundhogs day". They tell me the same things - withing a couple of days... they are back logged... but its been over 2 weeks now. Just venting and very disappointed in one of our sponsors.

That’s really unfortunate. I had a return a few weeks back from them and it was processed 3 days after receipt of delivery. Hopefully they get it done soon.

I recognize that there are probably many folks who've had great experiences with 2nd Swing. They do have a great stock of clubs and very competitive prices.

But, my only experience with them was a mixed bag.

I got a good deal on some great irons along with months of waiting. Eventually, I was able to claim them at a FedEx distribution site.

Haven't considered ordering anything from them since.

what is the back story? What is the product?

That’s surprising they wouldn’t refund you quickly if they’ve received the product?

Just received credit today on a trade in they received 6/22. 3 weeks during a holiday timeframe. I have no issues.

they are really horrible at paying trade ins and returns. Every other place ive traded stuff in at, you get the credit within 2-3 days of the package being delivered... 2nd swing is like 3 weeks.

I’ve done two sell’s to them. One online where i shipped the clubs and got the check within 3 weeks. Then one in store sale (maryland) and had the check within 2 weeks.

No complaints on either one.

In my case they had been stellar. No problems at all with returns or trade in.

I just had a negative experience as well, returned a set of irons.
After 3 weeks of waiting for the refund they refunded me $200 less then I paid because they claimed the condition was much worse then when i bought them. I had only used them twice so they looked exactly the same luckily I took some photos before I sent them back and fought them for a week or so and ended up getting the rest of money back.

Yeah, 28% interest charge on $1200 set of irons because of their "poor staffing" for returns

Their prices at least in store are a joke, old beat up clubs for 30-50 off new retail. I don’t see how they remain in business.

Evidently you have never traded in anything at Callaway preowned, 4 weeks is usually minimum, they tell you that and so does 2nd swing that is 7 to 14 Business days, not calendar, sometimes later.

no i havent. But I did trade in 3 wedges to rock bottom last week, shipped them out last thursday, they received them today, and I got paid less than an hour after the tracking number said it was delivered.

Thats a good turnaround, the others need to catch up. Trade in values are equivalent to 2nd swing for store credit but not if you want the Cash

I traded in some stuff to 2nd swing about 6 weeks ago, for store credit not for cash, and it took over two weeks for them to even say they opened the package and longer for the credit. By that time I had already bought what I wanted from them somewhere else. Never again.

So I had an interesting experience. I shipped a driver back last week as a return for store credit. At the same time I traded in some stuff to Carl's Golfland because they had a bonus trade in event going on. Well turns out 2nd Swing handles that for them. So my return and the clubs I traded in were both shipped at the exact same time (two different boxes) and arrived at the exact same time. I received a notice on Tuesday that my Carl's trade in was processed and I actually got my credit from Carl's today. However, my return did not show they even received it on the 2nd Swing site until this morning even though it actually arrived last week but has not been processed so it is still waiting. They seem to put priority on other shops that use their trade in service.

Still waiting on my return that was received on July 9th, I got my trade in credit faster than my return credit and they both were received on the same day. Still waiting on the return credit, was told it would be to me Tuesday or Wednesday and have not seen the credit returned to my card. It probably would be faster to me to drive to their MN store and did the in-person return. I'll give them their 14 day waiting period on returns before I start bombarding them with messages and calls.
