I have 241s, s3, 620mbs, original blueprints…..they are all bigger than what those s-1s looks compared to the s3.  Those 620s are probaly the closest.

The satin looks better in person than in pics, it works on the S-3, but they'd both be better in chrome

I was eagerly awaiting these, but now... I dunno. If they were chrome, I'd consider switching from my (awesome) 221s, but the brushed satin just isn't doing it for me. 

 

They remind me of the P730 / Rory irons. Which isn't a bad thing. Not sure I jive with the straight topline, I think I've gotten used to the rounded look. 

 

Basically, I'd hit these for sure, and if someone gave me a bag of these and said to play a round I'd be more than happy to. But I'm not sure that I'm excited enough to actively switch.

Those look like they would combo nice, wish Mizuno did a power spec lofting, would get them just to enjoy the feel.

My mp32 are 2 degrees of bounce stock at 5 or 6 iron I think so it would be zero bounce minimum.  
 

these are supposed to be back to mizuno low bounce and sharp leading edge heritage.

At first I thought this was a throwback to mp32 but more i look into it, its just a modified 241. Still great looking but I had my hopes up…. Dang

They added 1 degree of bounce over the 241. Blade length is also just sliiiiightly longer than 241 across the range.

Where are you getting this?

 

ask golf nut and the marketing stuff are both reporting less bounce and a sharper leading edge on the s1 vs the 241 (which was mizunos most bounce and blunted leading edge in a blade in some time)

I posted in the thread these pics dropped in before this one that I was just at the local shop looking at S3s. Compared em to other major OEMs players CBs. S3s are noticeably smaller. Seeing how much smaller the S1 is compared to the S3…. 😬

Oh agree. The 32s are more like the srixon z forged in my opinion, larger blade length, one of the “easier” blades to hit which is what made it so great to me.

The askgolfnut video. Right about 4:40 he shows the following slides which appear to be straight from Mizuno marketing dept for the release. 
 

Biggest takeaway for me from his site testing (for what that’s worth) is that that spin low, same as ZX7 mkii.
