Which KBS shafts play/feel like Nippon Pro Modus 120X?

For anyone who has played both, please give me some advice. I currently play Modus 120X and like them a lot, but the new irons I want only offer them at an upcharge, and I want to avoid that. Plus, I'm open to trying something new. If you have any graphs that compare the Modus 120 X to KBS models, that would be appreciated as well. Thanks!

Nothing from KBS plays like Modus 120.

PX LZ is close. That's about it.

Ok, that is surprising. Usually there are shaft analogues between manufacturers, especially when one model, like the 120X, is so popular. Every manufacturer has a DG X100 competitor, for example.

Px lz and Maybe a dgs300 soft stepped is going to be the closest you get.

kbs shafts tend to be stiff mids, which is the opposite of modus 120

Japanese steel are different than others. They'll tend to feel softer.

if the modus is your favorite, I'd just bite the bullet and be 100% happy.

The responses from the other posters are for the most part spot on. I will expand upon something @Pnwpingi210 touched on. This has to do with EI profiles.

Modus 120

med/med/stiff

KBS varies but most of their line up starts with a med to med+ tip and stiffens up in the mid and handle with the exception of C-taper which is stiff+/med+/stiff+

In this regard, nothing is similar in KBS lineup to the Modus 120 from an EI profile standpoint, however, like others have posted, the PX LZ is pretty close feel wise, however, EI profile is different. Your decision to stick with Modus 120 in your new irons would be the wisest choice.

Agreed. Played Modus 120X a while back. Loved the feel, but struggled to control them. Hit $Taper and CTaper in my fitting. These definitely feel firmer everywhere, which suits me well. I also hit Modus 130X and didn't get along with it. Loved the feel.

So, to me, the Modus feel the softest at impact, but the two KBS shafts I tried felt firmer, but performed better for me. Only shaft I ever played that was similar was DG Sensicore X100. Felt almost as soft, but EI profile also quite different.
