Graphite iron shafts that have a similar profile to KBS tour?

I would say Diamana GT is the closest in terms of EI profile.  Starts off with a med tip then stiffens up in the mid with a touch more stiffness in the handle.  Feel is very different though.  KBS tour has that kick in the lower mid that you can feel while the Diamana GT's kick is way more subtle.

KBS claims their TGI graphite shafts have the same EI profile as their KBS Tour shaft. I might have tried one that was too stiff for me, but they felt different.
But they also claim their PGI graphite shafts have the same profile as the KBS Tour shaft. 

Maybe try them both.

Looking at EL curves from Russ Ryden, the KBS PGI has a profile that resembles Dynamic Gold, with a smooth butt and mid section while being tip stiff.

The KBS TGI has a significantly different profile from the PGI, and resembles the C-taper and Tour alot more, and might be worth giving a shot.

Unfortunately, just looking at the shape of the curve on Russ' graph doesn't tell you very much about how similar the profiles really are.   Those graphs are auto-scaled and each graph is scaled differently.   That can significantly distort the comparison.   And even two identical curves with the same scaling can be separated in value will look the same side-by-side and yet be completely different profiles.   You actually have to be able to plot the different curves together on the same graph to get an accurate comparison.   It's the values that are important, not the shape.  And not sure, but as I understand it, you need the advanced (more expensive) subscription to be able to do that.

KBS TGI is supposed to be the equivalent to KBS Tour but in graphite. Ive swung both and can say they feel pretty similar and were easy to launch with a small kick through impact

Thanks for providing some clarity Stuart. I’m doing my best to get up to speed on the ins and outs of the tech, but my experience is limited.

I subscribe to Russ' advanced data which lets you overlay any number of shaft profiles on the same graph. We're not allowed to post the numbers or detailed graphs but I can confirm that in terms of EI curves, the KBS Tour 105s and TGI 90 have nearly identical EI bend profiles and bend profile signatures. In general, the Tour and TGI shafts have very similar EI profiles just as KBS claims. If you're use to the Tour or $-Taper shafts then the TGI line should be a good fit. You just have to experiment to find the right shaft weight. I was a long time KBS Tour 120 user and then played the $-Taper 120 for a few years. I switched from those to the TGI 80 about a year ago. Even though the weight is significantly lower, it only took me about a week to get use to them. For me the feel and performance is identical to the KBS steel shafts.

Many years back I played KBS Tour S. It's difficult to find something similar , due to KBS Tour tip flex. Not sure if you'll find weight, but KBS graphite shafts are almost the same profile.

What would be closest match weight wise in the graphite?

There are some stiff handles; but not many that I know of. My Fujikura Pro 95i and 115i TS Stiff are mid-high bend which is close.

 

TGI 100g only KBS ties weight to flex, so that's comparable to X-flex. I played MMT 105S & 125S, but I'm not sure if they have a similar bend profile.  SF i110cw S are mid-high bend and outstanding shafts.  From my experience, most graphite shaft weights top out around 110 grams.

I would look at UST Recoil Dart too. I have not tried the Dart V, but I have a Dart 105 that feels a lot like $ Taper in my hands.
