This is still a bunch of EE during the backswing. And, I think, too much rotation of the pelvis too.

 

 

Setup is still back on the ankles. Then not only does your left hip go through the line quite a bit, the right hip moves toward the ball, too.

Yes I noticed still some EE. Still work in process obv. Agree weight is prob back too much

Crazy how much I feel like I’m not EE but still am. What I thought was a really good swing but still not even close yet. That said this is light years better than where I was so after 10 days I’m ok with it. Can actually see some space now

 

 tried to get out of the heels and more into balls of my feet here. Still not hitting balls yet or at least very few

 

 i think generating width is still lacking and not sure I’m shallowing the club enough??

Analyzing swings without a ball isn’t beneficial because your eyes, mind and body don’t react the same as when a ball is there.

 

but looking at this swing. The first thing you do and not sure if it’s your idea of a swing trigger or if your doing it to clear room is to push your knees back and you get into the heels from there.

 

then you hips move in reverse order causing you to move closer to the ball in the takeaway and then even closer in the downswing because of where you’re pressure is at.

sure but if you see prior positions up thread it was so bad that I just need to see what it looks and feels like even before I introduce the ball

Yep.

 

It'll be a bit easier if your weight isn't as far back toward your ankles as that at setup.

Still trying to focus on this feel (I played 2x this weekend so I didn’t think abt these mechanics)

Set up with your heels 2.5” from a wall in golf shoes and barely or don’t let your butt touch the wall.

Introduced a foam ball this evening. Predictably extension returned a bit. Though I “think” I had a bit less extension on the backswing and been conscious of less pelvic rotation

Just not enough rotation. Throwing the arms. I’d be interested in a face-on.

Last 3 rounds I have been +SG (relative to scratch) off the tee. Small sample obviously but I just feel so much more comfortable with the driver in particular. By no means do I think I'm "fixed" but feels great to see the light coming

 

Biggest difference is the reduced anxiety especially off the tee. I was a basket case at my worst literally driving it like a 10 handicap.
