Anyone play Recoil Dart 65R in their Srixon irons?

Bought ZX5 MKII irons last year with KBS regular stock steel (Tour Lite). Thinking about moving ro graphite after a bought with tennis elbow and wondering if anyone plays them in their Srixon irons. I was fit into the ZXi5 with MMT 85R but not ready to move away from the MKIIs. I play at 3/4” over standard, according to Srixon my current irons are built using lighter heads. I tried a couple MMT irons in a wedge and 6 iron and they swing weighted around D5 +. Considering the Dart 65 as they were the stock of

graphite offering with the MKIIs. FWIW, I also have the TGI 60 in my 5 & 7 irons, they feel fine but don’t provide much spin.

The MMT is close in profile to the TGI but as you have found, they might not have the launch that you need.  The DART will help with launch a little bit, but honestly loft of the iron head has much more impact on height and descent angle than the shaft.  The shaft is really a timing device for you to center it up consistently.  If you have a good shop around you, then can alter the SW a bit with new shafts or you can always try a little bit of lead tape to help with the SW also.  Lastly, you might want to look into the KBS PGI vs. the TGI.  The PGI in my opinion and testing is closer to the DART and the MMT is closer to the TGI.  Hope this helps.
