Tell me about UST All-In Putter Shafts

Was at the big box trying out a bunch of putters the other day, and was surprisingly interested in the Cleveland Frontline Elite Rho.  Not one I expected to like, but the balls just kept dropping, and the insert had a very nice feel.

What I found interesting is it came with two choices of shaft - traditional steel, or an "All-In" graphite shaft with a few inches of steel tip on it.  Although the steel felt "normal", the graphite was a bit lighter, and felt much more muted on the putts.

As an upcharge option, I am guessing there are some benefits to the "All-In" shaft that were not readily apparent at retail.  Thinking of pulling the trigger on one of these, but would hearing what benefits other users found from it once they adjusted to the new putter (other than less hip pain from a lighter wallet).
