LA Golf irons?

I’m watching Happy Gilmore 2 and they flash to Happy shopping for irons in Dick’s Sporting Goods with Paige Sporanic. They clearly show a set of LA golf irons that we have never seen before. Does anyone have any information on them?

Netflix blocks screenshot so I took a picture with my phone. Irons look like Artisan irons with LA Golf logo. LOL guess we know who made LA Golf irons.

Gonna assume that they are the LA Golf irons that they are currently working on developing with Bryson but they are not currently available for sale.

Check the image I posted. They are Artisan irons with LA Golf logo.

I noticed it right away when they panned to them that they said LA golf on them but have the artisan logo on them seemed kinda odd.

Product placement. LA Golf is a sponsor of the film. They pay Artisan to use their irons, slap their logo on them, then pay the studio for placement.

I think these were talked about a while ago. Bryson is trying to do something completely new with irons. Can’t quite remember what it was lol but it was interesting.

He is trying to incorporate roll and bulge into irons like a driver has. So the face of the iron isn’t flat, it has curvature horizontally and vertically. 
 

Says it limits the strikes off center to be more straight and maintain distance control. 
 

The face looks wild in an iron. Not sure it’s something I could get used to.

Adam must have one heck of a deal w/Dick’s! Also featured prominently in his movie ‘Blended’.

Maybe MT is developing BAD's irons through a Partnership? Who knows! BAD does have a previous relationship with Artisan.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if it turned out they never paid Artisan and Artisan only found out through the HG2 movie and sued?

It would be, but there's very little chance the studio or production company (that Sandler owns), would miss this. The art department and props department would all had to have missed it, also. Part of their job is to make sure no unauthorized logos of any kind are filmed. If they didn't have permission they would've greeked out the Artisan logo.

As someone who has fondled Artisan irons before, those are straight up Artisan irons with LA GOLF engraved on them. No way they didn’t get paid for this lol.
