People can poke fun and criticize his swing all they want, but the dude’s a two handicap.  And he shot a 68 from 6,500 yards, while actually putting out every putt.  Those are three things 99% of the members of this forum have never done.

100 percent. I’m so tired of some of the usual suspects coming in here and criticizing BeBetter, as well as some other guys like Micah, that could easily give everyone here at least 4 shots a side.

I understand. I was merely pointing out something that he can improve on with his setup posture. He honestly should shooting a lot of 68's on a 6500 yard course.

El Dorado is just shy of 7K and currently set up for the LB Open. It’s no pushover, and a 68 there right now is pretty impressive.

That’s most likely why non of the changes stick after seeing all these instructors. He gives up on them because probably makes him a worse golfer, takes times for changes to become natural.
 

I know a lot of people who are scratch with completely ugly swings; EE, across the line, over-swinging etc.

I haven’t followed the channel much, but it seems that the instructors don’t really diagnose him specifically as much as the session is about: “Hey, try this special thing I teach to everybody.”

 

There were some really basic golf instruction 101 things he was doing a few years ago and none of the instructors would ever address them.

I haven’t watched much of it either. He was going to Monte for a while years back on his channel. From what I remember Monte was trying to fix his over-swinging.

You have  to give him credit.  He is responsible for popularizing the LAB. putter.

 

He vlogged me hitting it like a bad 12 handicap in the first round of the LBO and shooting 73 because I was Ben Crenshaw with the LAB that day.  Shot 68 day 2 missed cut by a shot.

 

The week after he posted me making all those putts they got dozens of orders and started the tidal wave.

+3 and I've taken lessons from Dana in the past and worked on what he told me to do instead of straying off. Because I know that I don't know as much about my swing as a multiple time major winner's coach. Sometimes just one set of eyes is enough, no need to get a second opinion.

I bought one after that, lol - was great on short putts, took it on a trip to Scotland, it was the talk of the caddies wherever we went - "I'll be having a look at that space machine" - then I became disenchanted and still bought version 2.0.  Eventually, gave it up partly because of things that were going on with the company and mostly because on long putts it wasn't the best and LaMont made me a wonderful putter.
