Dynamic Gold Shaft Wedge vs Iron Shaft Label

Hey guys.

I am a little confused on some DG 115g S300’s I bought. I bought the PW uncut length from the iron set and shows S300 on them (Second Picture). On these other DG shafts (115g) in the first picture, it shows Wedge where the S300 is on the label.

Was going to put these in my 56 and 60.

Are these the same or would there be much of a difference?

Read the post multiple times and couldn't make total sense of what you have bought (I read it as an entire iron set of shafts all in wedge flex?), but, I can say I have DG Mid 115 in 5i through to 50* Mg4 and all have, as specced, S300 flex and S300 written on the shaft bands.

My off the rack 54&58 have the same mid 115 shafts but wedge in place of S300 as they're the wedge flex version of the DG Mid 115.

I purchased two of the shafts in the 2nd picture in PW uncut length for my 56 and 60. They are both S300 but the first picture shows Wedge in the label instead of S300.

Im wondering if there is a difference in how these shafts perform?

I don't have those, but are the stepping patterns the same or different?

Some older 115 Wedge shafts have a different step pattern then S300, indicating to me they were more of a PW shaft (since that set only offers a 9i at the top) with some tip trimming based on my measurements.

My guess is they are the same step pattern, just label changes.

As far as I’ve seen the only way to get the ones labeled “Wedge” is as a custom on Callaway wedges. True Temper doesn’t even list them on their own site. Good chance they’re the same but labeled differently just for Callaway.

BOTH is listed, with identical specs, but different labels.
the OP had 2 treads about this, and he should measure and compare step patterns and tip length, since there is no step pattern drawings of them on TTs web, but both is listed,

I deleted the other thread and moved it to the correct section in the forum. I did not double post.

I don’t have both shafts on hand in order to measure the stepping that’s why I was hoping for some feedback.

Yes exactly. I’ve only been able to find them only the opus platinum wedges. That’s why it’s confusing to me! Haven’t found any pulls on eBay either.

I didn’t like the heads but those shafts felt so good that I want to purchase them.
