2nd hole in one v. first hole in one

I made my second hole in one today at the Refuge golf club in Lake havasu AZ

 

Great track I play there quite often as it is only 45 from my house and priced great for the quality of golf. On the 17th hole ( a neat 125 yard par 3 from the tees with alot of trouble and a tiny green) I hit my 54* wedge and spun it about 3 feet back into the hole. I was very happy but it wasn't quite like the first one. The first one was special, something I was very very excited about but this one wasn't exactly "exciting"

 

Maybe it is because I've made plenty of shots from the fairway from much farther ot maybe its just because I was 2 over and was really upset with my round as I just went double double par on my last 3 holes.

 

Has anyone else felt like the second hole in one isn't as exciting as the first?

For different reasons though. First one cost me $12 in drinks, second one cost $200+. That's what you get when playing in a Saturday 40+ man outing. That's $200 out of pocket, after collecting skins $$...

I HAVE NO IDEA!!! I HATE YOU GUYS WITH HIO...... :D Never had one and been playing 25 years, done everything except keep it in the hole. spun it back, ran it up, hit it IN and bounced back out! About two years ago thought I had one while playing with my son, ball was dead on the hole and saw it hit right in front then got to the green and the flag shadow had it hit! Dang it!

For different reasons though. First one cost me $12 in drinks, second one cost $200+. That's what you get when playing in a Saturday 40+ man outing. That's $200 out of pocket, after collecting skins $$...

 

 

You got off easy...I made my fifth ace in a "charity" scramble and paid just shy of $1200 for 4 kegs of Bud Light...I could go to the store and get them for about $80 bucks a pop. By the way, it was a smooth six from 175...and a smooth month's mortgage payment... :D

Agreed, I hate that tradition.

My Grandad got his first hole in one playing with me at 75 years of age 2 years ago.

He is not the sort of person to say no and is a very giving person and had to pay over 400euro for drinks for people he mostly didn't know...
