Alpha C1 Pro reviews, anyone?

Can anyone provide me with some input or reviews on the Alpha C1 Pro irons? I'm debating giving those a shot, or else the Wishon 550C or 560MC. I searched the forum but can't seem to find anything on the Alpha's.

Alpha C1 Pro Irons are great. They look good and are surprisingly forgiving for a player type iron with workability. They seem to launch a little higher than similar player cavity back clubs. I have never hit the Wishon 550C, but I did with the 560MC. The 560MC plays differently to the Alpha C1 Pros, I thought they were more forgiving, though almost too much forgiving. They lacked feel, seemed like the whole face was a sweet spot. I am a feel player, I want too know if I am mis-hitting the ball. Also, the C1 Pros were easier out of the rough. All this is just my opinion, hit both clubs and come to your own conclusion.

Thanks for the input! I decided to pick up a set of the Alpha C1 Pros and give them a shot.

I got a SMOKING deal on them. I got a set of lightly used (perfect condition) 4-PW with True Temper Black Gold Shafts, Stiff Flex, PURE'd, with Winn XF grips - anyone want to guess how much? :rolleyes: (That setup sells for $575 new on alphagolfclubs.com, not including the grip upgrade or shaft PUREing).

Played my first round today with these irons, and they're GREAT! I shot my personal course-best (83) at a fairly difficult course by my house. I'm usually in the high 80's on that course, and I shot just an 83 my first time out with these irons. I hit about 14 GIR, and only had a few bad shots all day with my irons. The only reason I was even above 80 is because of a few botched bunker shots and 2 OB drives, other than that I would've shot in the 70's. And this was without even taking them to the range to practice with first! I think I'm going to put my trusty ol' I3 Blades up for sale!

I'm glad to hear that you like these. I've been debating building a set of these or a combo of the Wishon 555c and 555m. The Alpha look great (as do the Wishon) and I'm happy to hear that they perform just as well.
