Anyone played there recently that can report on the conditions, etc. I haven't been there in probably 10 years, but was considering playing there this weekend.

A good friend of mine played it 2 weeks ago, and he said it was in pretty good shape. He said the greens were rolling nicely at the time. I haven't played out there in about 3 years myself.

My regular group played there about 3 wks ago. They hosed up our tee times (made one week in advance) and we had to start on the back. Greens were very slow and most of the tee boxes are in need of work (alot of them are bumpy or crowned . . .) In fact some of them are god awful. Fairways were OK and rough was kind of long! That is all . . .

Forgot what a shotmaker's course this is. Narrow driving areas and you really need to work it both ways to keep it in play.

How's this for a schizophrenic round - shot 79 with 5 doubles. Had more doubles than pars... :good: Two under after two holes, then my driver left me for about 9 holes. The rough was surprisingly tall for a public course that gets a lot of play - almost "wedge it out" tall just off the fariway on some holes. Greens were slow, but in good shape, and the fairways were pretty good as well. Tees were worst part of the course, but not horrible, just needed to be cut ½" lower. Not a bad deal for $54 on a Sunday morning.
